Can someone tell me why, whenever the US Military is featured in any significant way in any film, they can't give some private 50 bucks to tell them the proper way to wear a uniform? I mean seriously- what was that guy a General of- the boy scouts? Sure they may not have the money to buy the BDUs that soldiers are

Geez, why all the hate for PA-1? I think part of its allure was waiting for the shock/horror, and then only getting a little bit, in (what you would kinda assume to be) a realistic manner. And man, when she gets dragged out of bed- that was awesome. But then, I thought Thirteen Ghosts was terrifying so...

@nutbastard: And if world domination is on her agenda? As talented as she is, I'm just not so sure about her planet-wide administration skills.

@monkeybiziu: The chicks are definitely sluttier in the 'Enterprise' version of Mirror Mirror-

@Anrkist: Sadly no- although I would kill to get MST3K back on the air!

@Anrkist: Manos has a huge fan base from MST3K-

@ZGangsta: Right, because my comment was obviously vigorously defending the iPad...oh wait- no I was defending the OP. Maybe you should aim your cliched Applefanboi pseudo-insults at someone who actually likes Apple?

@kavka: Maybe you should take another look at the picture and judge by the bride's expression whether she gives a crap about the iPad or not.

@The5thElephant: Agreed on all counts. My wedding was 15 minutes at the registry office in Fulham and even my Catholic grandmother said it was one of the sweetest (and shortest!) weddings ever attended...

@PallidaMors: Nevermind. After actually clicking the link to Google earth I find an ocean where my mythical river used to be.

@Pessimippopotamus: Interesting- from this pic it looks like water is simply filtering through from whatever large body of water that is top of frame. So my assumption is that when they mean "this land gets lots of rain and then voila! Lagoons! They actually mean "we get alot of rain and then the river rises enough

Star Trek. While I love Star Wars, I think there is far more potential for great plotlines in the Trekverse.

@The Curse of Millhaven: Agreed. No Braga and no Berman. But...if we could get some of the early SG1 writers, mixed in with some BSG writers and a dash of old school TNG writers- man, t'would be awesome.

@ExtensionOfBob: Makes me wish the Cold War was still brewing. What happened to our need for technological innovation? The SR71, Concord, F117, Space Shuttle...some of the most amazing things we have ever constructed. Now all we have are brand new cruise liners, a failed replacement for a heavy lifter rocket, and

@Slinkytech: The reaction from Beege? If that's what you are talking about, then yes. Your silly comment made me want to flame you without any of the civility that Beege employed. Perhaps in the future you should adjust your comments to the tone of the article? In this case the tone would be light, fun, and

@Gaudy Mouse Muad'Dib: I find it more than mildly depressing that there will only ever be 2 more chances to get an amazing picture like this.

Now playing

I've always thought this was one of the coolest long shots ever...the precision needed to get the hundreds of people moving on exactly the right cues boggles the mind...
