Seriously... I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt that they used some testing gear that records the run of each car independent of start time so driver error can be ignored in the result times (2.9 vs 2.8). The video makes it seem like they’re miles apart when in fact a real apples to apples would look a bit closer…

Thank you. As someone on the other side who was equally as drunk but remembered what happened, even after getting enthusiastic consent at the time, it’s really tough to think that you may have crossed someone’s line while they weren’t as coherent as it seemed. Really shitty for everyone involved.
