yeah I’ve been seeing a lot of that too... didn’t even realize that there was possibility for it to be evil.

or, possibly show a reference that the group has already gone flawless so they should go up against other groups of flawless players to make it more challenging. I feel like that would become a shitshow in of itself with matchmaking

I’m glad they’re going based off of connection. It gives mid-tier players a shot at going all the way and people don’t get screwed over by going up against a red-ping team.

Not everything is about gear. Many play the game to have fun. If they enjoy ToO, they will enter it and play it.

I even came across it in CLASH last night. Other team was some clan all fireteamed up and pulling out all the stops to pubstomp. I ended up getting into my groove and figuring out their tricks, got heavy ammo, my super, and went on a streak that helped us take the lead. At the end it was super close but they couldn’t

You can get drops. I didn’t get a shader or a ship but my teammates did. The run I played I think we did (5) 9-0 runs with no losses aside from the BS one a teammate got by getting D/C’d on the 9th round (even with the forgiveness buff) which me and the other guy still won but it sucks he didn’t go to the lighthouse

Shaders, gear items, sparrows as well as exile gear can drop. There is some reason to do it over and over. Furthermore, I only got 9-0 on one of my characters, but transferred the emblem over to my other character that didn’t while I tried again. I should also note, I didn’t get it on my other characters. Mainly

I was running ToO with a hardcore guy on my friendlist, and he mentioned how some teams would glitch out of getting shot by having a “Lag Switch” hooked up to their router; basically a toggle switch that cuts the lead on an ethernet cable.

I did it on all three characters and it's a really fun game mode. It's practice for next week

Haven’t played destiny but it sounds like they need some sort of elo system to give points based on player statistics to match them to better balancing of skill and as such gear.

It’s kinda come back to bite them, but not much and only in a small subset of the community. Honestly, PoE and ToO have revitalized the community in a big way. Some people are mad that getting the PvP gear is actually challenging and that they have to work for it, as though the PvE gear hadn’t already set a precedent

You can get more weapon drops. ToO is also a unique game mode. For many who go 9-0, it’s the first time PvP has ever truly been a challenge. ToO is to PvP what VoG was to PvE. It’s the highest tier of difficulty for people playing ToO and they don’t play it just for weapons and armor. They play for the fun and thrill

The game mode is a ton of fun and I did it on all three characters but I usually take off my emblem. I mean it's just fun.

Basically spot on except that it happened at 2 PM.

I did this in 1996! I was working at -shudder- a margarita themed restaurant in the Frnch Quarter, in New Orleans DURING MARDI GRAS. A quartet of charming frat boys came in while I had SEVEN tables sat at once, acted demanding, arrogant, got handsy with my ass and, of course, paid their SEPERATE checks with 4 credit

He’s like fuckin’ Hawkeye with that thing!

A definitive ranking which vegetable tempuras are the best tempuras according to science facts. Don’t try to argue

OH MY GOD HOW DID I MISS THAT
