Twitch as a service began in 2007, originally named ‘Justin.tv’ after one of it’s founders. There were many streaming catagories, but the gaming part took off and became twitch. There might not have been streaming superstars back then like Ninja and Dr Disrespect, but people were definitely streaming 10 years ago.
