Haha, thought so! I remember being astonished at the absurd pricing when they came out. And Sony was LOSING money on the PS3! Ridiculous!
You are 100% correct. And yeah, I myself would not buy a rig like this - I splurged when I built my own. That's because I, like you, am an enthusiast.
:D
Ahem. Geek. Not Nerd. Surprisingly enough, I'm socially adjusted.
Tay? I'm a bit confused, haha.
The love is appreciated!
Yes. Almost all the parts would be just as cheap, minus the GPU. But the Xbox 360 GPU is nothing more than a modified GeForce 7800GT (one of the 7800 GPUs, at least), which is really not impressive.
Well, that's not my concern if they are duped by the videos. My point is to show that cost-wise, PC gaming is cheaper, and that's gaming at higher settings and performance than what a console can even attempt to do.
You are reading way more into what I've written. Read my first post without trying to read some hidden message. I'm just here to dispel the myth that PC gaming is more expensive, a comment I see repeatedly everywhere, especially in the comments on Kotaku (and way too many on this article).
Well-said, fellow PC gamer!
Well-said, fellow PC gamer!
You are a colossal idiot if you go by how many games are sold, or by paid reviews (yes, GameSpot and IGN have admitted to receiving money from publishers to rate their games higher).
You didn't read the comments. Read them, and your concern will be addressed.
Agreed. BTW, OS issues is addressed in the comments.
Word!
That's not true. The Radeon HD 5570 is much more powerful. Tom's Hardware, Anandtech, and Guru3D can prove this for you. Even the Radeon HD 4650 I have in an HTPC is.
Always happy to help! You're welcome!
Agreed. PC gaming is the best.
I already addressed the cost of Windows in the comments. Does no one read them? Sheesh!
