That does not make sense that it would only be worth 3K running?

I don't even expect our terrible healthcare system to cover a converted van....but I would expect our system to actually cover healthcare stuff, which is sometimes a challenge. This is the only modern country where you have to buy extra insurance for your insurance...and even then they can decide not to pay for

What are you talking about? They all have masks - typically being worn as a chin strap. Sometimes they cover their mouth though... and allow their nose free reign.

Now if we can just convince the ten people you can see in the kitchen to wear masks, and not just the actual person handing me my food. It’s a nice little petri dish they’ve got going on back there.

“Definitively proving” masks “work” to slow the spread of Covid would be unethical. All we can do is rely on what data we do have available, all of which shows that masks seem to be effective at reducing transmission. On the other hand, there is zero downside to you wearing a mask, unless you are one of the very rare

Both masks and lockdowns have been proven to slow this down.   Nice try though.

Wear a mask you fucking clown. I’m surprised a science denier even knows what an app is. Go actually read some scientific literature you imbecile.

I get that, which is why the customer service rep’s analogy of a physical home upgrade is even more ridiculous because modern software can be remotely disabled on a whim as SaaS becomes the norm.

Imagine thinking this is a good ‘joke.’

I’m not saying they shouldn’t be compensated for the software--of course they should! But they should also have a reasonable return policy since it really costs them nothing to do so. If people want it, they should pay for it. If they don’t they shouldn’t be railroaded into buying it.

Cardboard’s right out.  No cellotape...

How’s someone going to remove a glass-panel roof on a car on delivery day for a STUNT? They’re not supposed to come off at all and you think the kid’s going at the adhesive with a putty knife while dad drives down the interstate>

You mean a car company that uses $1.25 Home Depot housing trim for critical components in it’s operation has a glass roof fly completely off while in transit on a $50k vehicle?

“Upon an audit of your account, it was determined that you did not pay for the roof option, so through an over-the-air update, it has been removed.”

Stop the extended warranty calls? How do we stop the annoying G/O Media survey pop ups that want to know all your personal info? Or the new Youtube “are you *sure* you don’t want to log in first?” YES! It seems like *every time* I watch a video on Youtube these days, I have to get through that stupid screen first. Or

I have been known to answer “Poncho’s Porn Palace and Pizza Emporium, home of the world famous white sauce!”

Above all, don’t allow it to get them what they want. Kids are smart about stuff like that, and they’ll keep doing it if it works.

With interest rates as they are today (assuming a credit rating such that you have any business buying a new car in the first place), paying cash for a car that is more than beer money is really rather silly. Invest the cash, finance the car.

Funny how not that long ago, the vehicle for tiny penises was a BMW or Sports Car.

That’s the first time I’ve heard that joke stereotype in the past 15 minutes.
