Tell them what? Why have you posted a picture of a Bronco rendering?
Or are you participating in the time honored Jalopnik tradition of posting a picture of a vehicle vaguely in the same class as the vehicle in the article and implying they look exactly alike?

The Roxor looks NOTHING like this.

I mean if you call a couple thousand EV1s “large scale”...

Nah, it’s just Erik. The dude is full blown negative nancy about life in general. It’s literally depressing reading most of his stuff.

But I suppose Raph also has a thing for hating.  He’s taken up the anti-captalist mantle that whats-his-face dropped on his way out.  Balaban, yeah that was it.

Tesla was built on the sole purpose to make EVs on a small scale and ramp up, that is not the situation at GM or any other major manufacturer. The two, Tesla vs GM, are not comparable

The GM hate seems strong with Mr. Shilling.

Also saying it’s something “they should have been doing years ago” is idiotic; do you think development of new battery technologies and entirely new drivetrains happens in a week or something? They CLEARLY have been developing all this over the last few... Wait for it... Years.

Sadly that’s true. Why can’t they be just a car blog? That’s what they’re good at.

Thanks for proving my point right off the bat.

Not trying to get pulled into a discussion but you know exactly what I’m talking about. Comments, stances, and general anti-whatever the blogger doesn’t like.

Nope, has nothing to do with that. Some of us don’t like the current leadership but are able to converse in a method that isn’t “YOU SUPPORT ICE AND ENFORCING IMMIGRATION LAWS? OMG YOU RACIST NAZI

The EV1 was not exactly a practical EV. The thing operated on an extremely heavy set of conventional lead acid batteries. So an owner could probably expect to have to replace those in less than 10 years which would not have been at all cheap. The cars were crushed because the parts suppliers would not support the

They sort of have. I own a 10 year old chevy volt that was originally shown as a concept in 2007. Secondly, unlike Tesla GM can’t produce a fleet of electric vehicles that fall apart and have issues. That takes time and they have to get it right. While Tesla owners might be more willing to let problems slide nobody is

Well there’s two way to go about it:

Seriously. Funny how Hyundai doesn’t get the same snark in this article.

It’s because Jalopnik, like the rest of this site, has unfortunately slid down into being political mouthpiece for extreme left views. Happened to the rest, jalop was just the last holdout

At this point I think GM could give all of you a billion dollars each and you’d find a way to shit on them for it. It would seem that Jalopnik has a culture problem when it comes to GM. They’ve been making big improvements all over the place and are by far the most focused on electrification of all the major

This was an interesting perspective. Having driven several ATS’s including my friend’s ATS with the excellent V6, I can say that it’s one the best chassis out there. The only car I’ve driven that felt better and sharper is an old BMW e36 M3. That said, the interior of the Cadillac is a big downgrade in usability and

I’ve had my M2 for about 18 months now, and it rattles like crazy. Dashboard, vents, center console, drivers door.....
