Came here to say the same. I work in clinical research, most protocols combine phases for speed and later phases can start before the earlier phases are complete, as long as there are no dose limiting toxicities (DLTs). Additionally, for critically needed medicines, the FDA will approve with nominal positive studies,

Tron Uprising was pretty great! Still angry it got buried (like 2am air time) and cancelled without giving it a chance. I dont think Disney actually cares about the franchise at all.

I’m currently leasing a 2018 DB11 for about $3,300 a month. I’m 9 months into a 36-month lease. I traded in a Tesla for this car and absorbed a 30k loss on it and rolled it into the Aston Martin lease.

As a first-time investor, you’re often guided to index funds as the place to start your wealth-building journey.

And to think that he could have been drafted by the Redskins and already be out of the league as a result.

I wanted him to respect the game & respect me as a veteran player.

I love this song

After handling a 3 year old all day, your energy for grandstanding about protesting fast food protests is rather diminished.

Given today’s news, I wanted to voice my appreciation for this post that is decidedly not about sports.

I too cannot wait to read the tale of the Objectivist Superman who feels he doesn’t owe it to society to help out the little guy.

Taken in this context, Wojnarowski taking money in exchange for tweeting out some—and I can’t stress this enough—truly horrendous-looking watches

I really enjoyed Descender, so I’ll be sure to check this out once it goes to trade.

DESCENDER is one of my very favorite comics of all time and I’m really excited for this. I tell anyone I can about DESCENDER and I’m so happy it’s found an audience. I remember the film rights for it were snatched up right when it came out, and I’d love to see it on a screen (big or small) someday. I love Nguyen’s art.

No way, suplex that nerd.

The Franciscan Monastery’s gardens are beautiful, too. Take the tour of the Church though, including the crypt tour. The crypt is full of rooms depicting scenes from the Holy Land that years ago people wouldn’t have been able to actually visit.  Fascinating, especially the little chapel showing purgatory.  Mom moved

Do it. The mosaics, in particular, are breathtaking. A lot of people sleep on it even though it is easily one of the best buildings in the city, and I am including everything on the Mall.

I came down here to say this. It’s a remarkable building and kinda off the beaten path in DC (the tower is actually the highest building in DC, not the Washington Monument, or Capitol building).

The mosaics are out of this world. They have everything from human DNA, the zodiac and the dragon come to devour the child

I’m really fond of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in DC. It’s the largest Catholic Church in North America and was started in 1920. Neo-Byzantine to make it stand out among the various basilicas and cathedrals, too. The special part, though, are the chapels inside. There are 70 of them, all honoring

I’ll take it!

I’m in the same boat, plus my fiancee is a Nats fan. I used to take the Light rail into Camden Yards, spending 3 bucks and change for parking and travel, plus maybe 30 bucks throughout the game. Camden Yards may currently be home to a shitty team, and Peter Angelos may be a shitty human being, but dammit at least they
