I agree, enough of Motor Week. This review, for example, is just idiotic- not relevant to anyone who would actually buy this car and not interesting to those who just want to know about it.

You're right, I just clicked through to your Twitter!
Here's how it went down.
And people say the British aren't repressed!
Well he does have a nice bum, perhaps you want to put your finger on that?
*sponsored*?
I reiterate my point that I would not be surprised there is a financial agreement for paid posts. Truth in advertising should demand they be labeled as "sponsored."
I've actually held my tongue with regard to the previous and excessive posts, but at a certain point I think it's useful to express dissatisfaction, and from what I'm reading, I don't see a lot of "excitement" about this modified car, save for a few like yourself.
Nothing wrong with trying to get your name and accomplishments (if you could call it that) out there. The problem comes with the people who actually believe this is newsworthy enough to post about. I'm tired of reading what I can only assume at this point are paid advertisements.
That's all wonderful, I'm sure he will be canonized at some point down the road. I still don't care to read post after post about it. Lots of people modify cars (which is not anywhere near the same as a degreed engineer creating something from scratch), it's not newsworthy and smacks of a paid advertisement at this…
That's not really the point I was making (argue about the "kit" factor all day long if you like). Whatever news value this car (and it's modifier) have, is it really deserving of post after post? Every time he tests something, or has a news release it's deemed worthy of our attention? I think not.
When will this guys advertizing contract with jalopnik be over? I'm sick of reading about this hillbilly and his kit cars. Frankly, these posts demean the site. At least mark them as "sponsored."
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't 1991 mean the dreaded automatic seat belts? It would appear the ebay photos are taken not to show this.
I see no indication of snow, other then mentioned by Gawker. Where is the reliable forecast indicating snow for the east coast?
The answer here is quite simple: Once you reach the age of 75, you must take your driving test again every two years to maintain your license. The idea that driving is a right for American's, even if they are horrible drivers, is idiotic!
What they should have done is to simply label these posts as "sponsored." What's amazing is that when you have a great TV show, people just watch it. NBC concluded in 2007 that this show was a bad idea, which is why it's on basic cable with less than one-one hundredth of the audience of the original.
I could not agree more! I wonder what Top Gear US paid to "seize" Jalopnik? Clearly this is an advertising deal and nothing more, this has no "editorial" value whatsoever. Amazing how the real Top Gear gets 350 Million viewers without having to do stuff like this.
What would be "outstanding" is if we didn't have these minute-by-minute promotional updates, which essentially are advertisements for a show that, frankly, isn't very good compared to the original.
The addon is great, but the problem is that everyone would have to have it in order to really turn back the clock to the old system.
Or.. if you own a Volvo dealership and want to use is to take customers home. A dealer around here had an 80's version doing just that.
