I always love it when developers explain the reasons behind decisions because its both very informative, and listening to capital ‘G’ Gamer accusations is exhausting. If you ask Twitter, 30fps is becase devs just need to move the FPS slider on the Engine Screen up to ‘60', and refusing to do so are Devs being LAZY.

When everyone is a brown-haired buzz-cut stubbly growly man voiced by Troy Baker or Nolan North...no one will be.

If you like the prospect of hydroforming and haven’t checked out Timberborn yet, please do, it’s fantastic.

I can ID Snake, a GTA stylized character, Booker, Drake and I think thats Alan Wake.

I felt honestly, that this also looked like Farcry in space. Time will tell but I wasn’t really wowed by anything and the stealth thing again smacks of their other titles. We’ll see.

yeah if they kept outlaws an open world and made the other two something else I would be all for it.

It’s Assassin’s Creed 2007. How original. Seriously, this game seems like the same ol’ thing. What is new about it? How many times can we replay this sort of AC game?

I too long for the 40fps mode.

Hell, during the mid to late 90s, 15-20FPS wasn’t at all uncommon! We had no problems with it, because we had no idea what FPS even was. A lot of people have been spoiled due to so many new games pushing for 60/are poseurs who think that demanding a high FPS makes them look smarter and more discerning than the

I mostly agree but want to point out the 60fps thirst is from a vocal niche & not 'consumers.'

Not to defend Redfall, I don’t really know why they would have included that game on a showcase about upcoming games?

While I am loathe to defend CDPR, this is a stupid thing to get mad about. Expansions for major games used to cost 30-40 bucks. Taking inflation into account this is a good deal.

This is very anecdotal, but an old classmate of mine from highschool has a daughter who’s like 16-17 now or somesuch, and she bought a PS5 using her own money so she could play the latest Horizon: Zero Dawn on it. At that time she’d already finished and generally played the hell out of the first one on PS4 by the way.

Same. I’ve met plenty of women that have a Switch, and am friends with several of them. I’ve also met several on a discord server I frequent for PC games. As always, just let people enjoy things. I’ve never really understood the boys club mentality anyway. It was never something to embrace.

I mean the first game did Doc Ock’s spiral from friend/mentor to villain so well that I totally expect a heel-turn for Harry to be just as well told.

yea Alan Wake isn’t my kind of game, but still hope this one does well so Remedy doesn’t have any issues moving on to Control 2.

I’m still not sold on the sequel yet, I can’t really put my finger on why, but I need to read/see more.

Companies have stopped making products that people want and need and now make stuff that will bring them the most amount of money the fastest.
