Yeah it was truly bizarre because I remember loving Payne 3 when it came out. I went back to it and it just felt... kinda shitty half-baked and mostly just boring. Especially the combat which is bizarre for a Payne game. I would always come back to the first two for satisfying gunfights. 

I mean a lot of boss fights in Elden Ring are arguably just filler. Reuse same enemy but in different area under more extreme circumstances.
