I feel the dialogue does fit for a college girl from the early 2000s.

Anti-SLAPP law just means the case gets dismissed before it receives a full hearing. It does not mean that Avellone was found guilty of anything, or Barrows innocent.
Thanks for that clarification. The official statement that “we have no knowledge that he has ever sexually abused any women” and “anything we have previously said or written about Mr. Avellone to the contrary was not our intent” flies in the face of how specific Barrows accusations were, such that it was impossible to…
Then that excuse can be used every time a rich person is attacked, in any context. “Everyone who hates Trump is jealous!” It’s ridiculous. It’s also ad hominem. Address the actual points being made. “Trump is a bigot.” Is that true? Yes. Does jealousy of wealth magically refute that point? No.
“I imagine he’s pissed that Sanderson isn’t nearly as good at ’constructing sentences’ as he is ... and yet makes $20M/yr while the Wired editor makes, I dunno, $60k?” Several other people cited Sanderson’s kind personality and financial success as reasons why the profile should never have been published.
I thought the series had become a lot smaller since CS:Source.
It seems to be... an instruction manual. We used to get these with every game back in the 90s!
As if Ubisoft’s writing wasn’t wooden enough.
I guess he’s trying to pull a Henry Cavill, but with an added dose of desperation.
Red states like Florida seem to be creating a society where whoever shoots first is automatically in the right. Fucking nuts.
Apparently we need to clarify what is being discussed; is it faking porn for one’s own personal use, or to publish it online for ridicule or passing it off as real? Big difference.

It’s been 23 years since Chris Roberts stepped out of the the director’s role on Freelancer, a space sim that made all the same promises as Star Citizen, because of the numerous delays and cost overruns. It’s the same story all over again: the dude has a decades-old vision he wants realized, but he simply isn’t a good…
Lavigne was about as punk as Perrier. Plaid can only do so much heavily lifting!
Specifically, both are for the titillation of their audience. It’s the same cynical move by both devs.
Is it though?
I’m not necessarily trying to diss DBZ. It’s just that every shonen anime of the last 20 years seems like a remix of DBZ.
Hey! Escaflowne is fucking magical. Or the music is, at least.
the Boruto fandom’s year-long claims that the series, particularly the Code’s Assault arc (the anime’s final season), is the best shonen anime ever made will finally be put to the test. This braggadocious claim has led to a schoolyard fandom war between Boruto and One Piece fans on TikTok
Somehow, I never heard of Indianapolis 500: The Simulation. Looks absolutely stellar for 1989, would’ve blown my little kid mind at the time.
