As it stands, the vaccine doesn’t seem to offer much protection against infection by Omicron’s subvariants after 20 weeks, and the vast majority of Americans haven’t been boosted, so it’s been a lot longer than 20 weeks. With or without proof of a vaccine, the virus will spread there…

It’s inevitably going to be massively less than the blockchain equivalent, because all the power the marketplace might need, the blockchain also needs, plus it wants you to burn vast amounts of power for your ETH or whatever.

I think the appeal is that they can offload a lot of the responsibility to the blockchain, rather than building and maintaining all the infrastructure themselves. It’s much more cost-effective.
