Anomalisa is a bit of a cop-out. The movie actually started out as a stage performance in 2005, and guess who originated the roles? Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tom Noonan, and yes, David Thewlis:

Those scenes bookend a shadowy stroll through New York
I think the vaccine is also not recommended currently for women who are pregnant
Burton’s last appearance as Cloud came in the 2018 Dissidia Final Fantasy NT fighting game, as Square Enix would cast newcomer Cody Christian to play Cloud in 2020’s Final Fantasy VII Remake. Sounds like the Japanese developer dodged a bullet with that one.
I think they’d still both be here, but the industry might look very different if Sony dominated that generation
Phil Spencer seems to be taking that attitude with recent acquisitions, but Microsoft of yore definitely did not.
TP feels a little split since it got sidetracked to debut on the Wii as well. But you’re probably right.
For me, some of the original stills of “celda” were underwhelming.
It’s dumber still that the mistakes he made were essentially the ones that Sony made at E3 2006. The lesson was already learned, just not by Mattrick.
It’s because of the hardware limitations that Nintendo routinely designs art that lasts the test of time. Photorealism just doesn’t cut it in the long-run, aging almost overnight and looking awkward by any modern standard. Wind Waker, on the other hand, will always be pretty.
That just looks like a pre rendered cutscene to show off the GC’s power
I was a young teenager working at Electronics Boutique in the lead up and launch of Xbox. I remember the $500 million marketing budget, the barrage of materials insisting “the most powerful console ever,” and the whole “we’re so cool” SEGA-Genesis-esque appeal. My older adult colleagues were completely enamored. But Ha…

MadCatz was already on shaky financial ground, and went in too hard on RB4 accessories in pursuit of a quick moneymaker. Especially given that you could use your old guitars/drums/mics, and thus didn’t even need to replace them. They bet that RB4 would be a blockbuster success in the peripheral market, and…
As far as I can tell, Harmonix has just two Steam games: Audica, a VR “rhythm shooter,” and a 2014 title called A City Sleeps, which seems more like an indie shmup. Not exactly big priorities for Epic, I imagine.
I have some difficult news for you...
Activision took a great dev like Raven Software, and put them on the Call of Duty assembly line. It sounds like Epic will be doing much of the same with Harmonix: to the Fortnite assembly line they go.
EA right now: “Maybe we shouldn’t have come back to Steam...”
Yeah, you sound like a jilted customer. The thing is, the fate of Kotick is not in our hands, but in the hands of people who only care about dollars. You may not like what Kotick did to GH and CoD (and neither do I), but he nonetheless milked a helluva lot of money out of those franchises, and in the case of CoD,…
