I’m unsure if they’re not working, or if there just aren’t enough people trying to match right now. But i do know I draw the line at waiting longer than ten minutes. I’ll try again later.

    +1 for F. Murray Abraham

Watch Dogs was pretty meh. Watch Dogs 2 was pretty good, thanks to an actually likable character and some cool drone mechanics. Legion, though...looks really fucking good. It’s been a long time since Far Cry 2, so I look forward to seeing if Clint Hocking has still got it.

It looks...just okay. Not quite Sekiro levels of engaged combat, but a little less arcadey than Force Unleashed. I think Respawn really shines in the level design, though, and that’ll be difficult to judge until we get the final product.

The fact people aren’t sliced in half by a lightsaber also stands out as rather... odd...

Thank you for the substantive reply.

a four-vs.-four online multiplayer action game called Bleeding Edge.

I would buy this on Switch. I would buy the Zelda version of this on Switch. I would buy the Metroid version of this on Switch. Just, holy shit Nintendo, let me give you more money!

You should, as they’re great games. But I think Baldur’s Gate 3 will only be tangentially related to the original games.

    Sorry, lemme clarify:

The combat can be a bit like Minecraft: it’s not going to pay off if you don’t put some creativity into it! But eh, any given CRPG is, in part, an acquired taste, so I wont’ belabor the point. If Original Sin ain’t your cup of tea, it just ain’t.

About a 120 years after the beginning of the first Baldur’s Gate game, the last Bhaalspawn died, which allowed Bhaal to reconstitute himself and reassert himself as the god of murder.

If it was an anthology from the get go, like Final Fantasy, that makes sense. But Baldur’s Gate II doesn’t even take place in Baldur’s Gate. The real thread is the Bhaalspawn saga, and specifically, the player character, who eventually either ascends the throne, or destroys it, complete with a full epilogue about how t

Overwatch 2? That’s surprising. I would’ve figured they’d be continuing the first one as a persistent live-service, ala League of Legends or DoTA2, rather than having a sequel so soon.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is fine. I can’t believe people are annoyed it’s called this

So does Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance. If they want to make a spin-off, by all means, go for it. But the Bhaalspawn saga is over, and the original development team long since dispersed. Larian is making something new, give it a new name. Baldur’s Gate: Invasion of the Mind Flayers? But less lame than that.

    You forgot Leonardo DiCaprio.

I feel this perception is more due to her fame than her record. I didn’t know who the fuck she was in Winter’s Bone, I thought she was just some no-name local amateur they recruited to play herself. But nope, she was just convincing in the role. She can definitely act. It’s just that films like X-Men or The Hunger

There’s certainly a hill to get over with Original Sin’s combat, that moves it from absurdly difficult to “oh, wait, I get it now.”

This is feeling more like it’s going to be an in-name-only sequel.
