Also take pictures of hoses fully assembled.

I like to use masking tape or painters tape on each end of a connector/hose, and draw with a sharpie some sort of shape that makes sense when the tape meets. III matches III or >< makes an X, etc. I heard of using nail polish to mark things, but I don’t have that laying

I bought a $50 scooter that the original owner said just had holes in the fuel tank. Fixed that, and it still wont start. It’s got spark, it’s got compression, it just can’t fuel. Cleaned the carb, attempted to adjust it, no luck. Next up is to swap the fuel lines.

After that, I have no idea, because carbs are like

We always tell people “You can’t win a track day” so they don’t push too hard. And when it’s time for club racing “You can’t win an out lap” (or qualifying) and most of the Spec Miata guys just laugh. Because they think you can win everything.

I’m 30 and have never been in a fight, and I don’t ever plan on it.

Maybe they don’t allow class 1 hitches? Or something like that? I know the OE VW hitch is a 1.5 and is rated at 3000lbs or something, where most class 1’s are rated at 1500lb.

It wouldn’t surprise me if getting a hitch meant jumping through hoops over there.

Right, that’s good and all... But you could just get vinyl done to look exactly the same...

It’s a piece of plastic, the center of gravity is the kids body, and it’s base is wide enough to not gaf.

I’m imagining how expensive something like this must be, especially when compared to essentially infinite design vinyl, that’s on in a matter of moments, and can be changed.

It’s cool and all, but what’s the point?

They all seem to have restricted speeds when towing, and I’d be willing to bet they are strictly enforced too.

The simple way to fix that is to black flag anyone who runs wide, or hit them with a massive time penalty for crossing the white line and putting 2 off.

There’s also considerably lower speed limits, so it’s a lot easier to drive 50mph with your trailer in traffic, instead of trying to drive 70, or driving slow and being a wreck waiting to happen.

Why are americans afraid of Diesel, and wagons, and 2 door hatchbacks, and everything else great in the world.

380 miles took 7.5 hours?

Are speed limits that low? My normal 500 mile drive to St Louis rarely takes more than 8. Even with a lunch stop. (no gas stop, TDI PAH, 600 miles on a tank)

But when you’re 5k away from having the real deal, why bother? Better resale on the evo too probably.

Volkwagen Golf 2.5 (or rabbit, whatever you want to call it).

Best 16000 car you can buy all around. Fit and finish just like it’s big brothers, an aural orgasm of a 5cyl engine, decent mileage, plenty of torque, easy to throw around, lots of room (23 cubic feet of cargo space) etc.

I like how they’re like “Don’t worry, it’s totally safe, we promise” and then “but uh, keep your arms inside the car, just in case?”

WOOT

No, evidence shows that i’m in the majority. VW Sells millions of golfs, and there are a handful of problems. i’m in the 99%, your friend and your mindset are in the 1%

But objectively, Shakespeare is the superior author.

Wine is the same way. Sure a lot of it is subjective based on your palate, but there is a true quality difference between cheap and expensive wines. That difference goes away from the 20 dollar and up range and gets more into marketing and production numbers, but a

To be a wine snob, all you have to do is be able to say “I like this wine” and “I don’t like this wine”.

That’s all there is to it.
