380 miles took 7.5 hours?
Are speed limits that low? My normal 500 mile drive to St Louis rarely takes more than 8. Even with a lunch stop. (no gas stop, TDI PAH, 600 miles on a tank)

But when you’re 5k away from having the real deal, why bother? Better resale on the evo too probably.
Volkwagen Golf 2.5 (or rabbit, whatever you want to call it).
Best 16000 car you can buy all around. Fit and finish just like it’s big brothers, an aural orgasm of a 5cyl engine, decent mileage, plenty of torque, easy to throw around, lots of room (23 cubic feet of cargo space) etc.
I like how they’re like “Don’t worry, it’s totally safe, we promise” and then “but uh, keep your arms inside the car, just in case?”
WOOT
No, evidence shows that i’m in the majority. VW Sells millions of golfs, and there are a handful of problems. i’m in the 99%, your friend and your mindset are in the 1%
But objectively, Shakespeare is the superior author.
Wine is the same way. Sure a lot of it is subjective based on your palate, but there is a true quality difference between cheap and expensive wines. That difference goes away from the 20 dollar and up range and gets more into marketing and production numbers, but a…
To be a wine snob, all you have to do is be able to say “I like this wine” and “I don’t like this wine”.
That’s all there is to it.
Totally false. As an industry person, we all have our go to cheap wine that we drink at home, which is a rough equivalent to a bud light or mich ultra. We would rather drink expensive wine, but sometimes that’s just not economical. Or maybe we aren’t eating the right food for it.
I keep fancy wine in my cellar for a…
I use their 2 port one and it’s great for my wife and I. I wouldn’t say it’s fast by any standard, but in my 30 minute commute I put on about 25-30%, So my phone rarely gets under 60%.

Consider the 30 or so horror stories you’ve heard, and the 2 million cars that have been sold. Those horror stories are one off’s, and I’d be willing to bet VWoA took care of them.
A bet you also think diesel cars are loud and shoot plumes of black smoke all over the place?
Stuck in the past man.
‘11 TDI bought new, has almost 100k on it now, never had a single issue with the car. I’ve lost a lot of tires, put in a new battery, and that’s about it. $50 oil change, $90 if you add in cabin and air…
Is there a reason they come into the straights and dip down towards the infield instead of staying up against the wall? Do they just do that to keep their attention, or is there something wrong with the track? Or does their aero suck next to the wall?
I go every morning after I drink my coffee. I thought everyone did.
I’ve never been to NYC for more than an hour driving through, but does the city not have a bunch of raised highways? Or is it only raised train tracks? Seems like they could benefit greatly from some elevated roadways, getting cars away from pedestrians/cyclists, and also giving them more reasonable speed limits.
It looks like the “new” Audi Quattro... weird
Although, his little bump into the 3rd place placard could have been avoided. I enjoyed watching him slowly and calmly remove himself from the cockpit.
But I can go forward with it all day... It just takes me a few more minutes to get it backwards.
Yeah, because once you’re on the highway you’re going to be shifting a TON!
Yes please!
I was secretly hoping he would get into 7th gear on the straight, but I was disappointed.
Also, that digidash had a lot of info on it, I wonder if you can remove 90% of it. Seems like a great way to distract the kind of person who would buy one of those, and get them into a guardrail somewhere as they sit…
