Too bad I’ve never heard of YOU at all!
Too bad I’ve never heard of YOU at all!
In the early games, yes. If you think of a Famicom cart: those things are MUCH smaller than the average NES cart, yet the circuit board used is more or less the same between the two. Games with battery back-up saves like Legend of Zelda would use more space (especially since the original game was a Famicom Disk System…
I see what you did there and I approve. :)
Light Bulb! Just got a great idea for a Mario costume I’d like to see in Mario Odyssey DLC.
Well if they’re going to be updating the outfits like this, then here’s hoping we get his referee outfit at some point:
Okay... what shall I play today? HIT IT!
Funnier still: I got it at a GameStop when they were trying to move their GB and GBC carts to make room for GBA and the upcoming DS. Now I walk into a GameStop and I see more toys, knick knacks, clothes, and other things that, while still cool and awesome, aren’t games.
That was my thinking as well. And not just the crash of ‘83 either, but some of the more... questionable... outsourcing that happened in the 90's too.
Years ago, yes, but I’m thinking years and years ago, like within the past decade. Plus, the level of Nintendo’s activity in GDC certainly seems to be going up from my perspective. I could be wrong, but given the history that I know and what I’ve heard, it’s just nice to see Nintendo being a lot more active with…
The thing that really surprised me is that Nintendo actually gave presentations and talks at the GDC this here. I know the IGDA used to have the hardest time getting Nintendo to open up and work with them. I also recall hearing how Indie development going back as far as the original Wii was a much more difficult…
Years ago, I was actually lucky to score a copy of the original Shantae GBC cartridge. First time I ever beat it was either on a GBC or on a GBA... can’t recall which. Probably GBA.
What Malthius said there.
Hideki Naganuma himself has tweeted that he’d love to work on the Splatoon soundtrack if given the opportunity. Here’s hoping!
Looks like if I ever hope to have all the Shantae games on one system again (before the 4th entry came out), I’ll need to pick this up to go with 1/2 Genie Hero, and then hopefully, the Switch will get a DSiWare VC and a GBC VC for the 2nd and 1st games!
You probably would have been right...
Oh man... if we thought they pulled the nostalgia goggles out back during the 20th anniversary, I’m betting they’re going to go whole hog for the 25th.
I’d say probably the most natural fit for her would be fashion once the modeling career dies down. After all, she got to where she is by designing, sewing, and crafting her own outfits. I can easily see her having her own fashion line (“Dresses by Enako” or something like that) to keep her fiscally sound once time…
I’m wagering that even if she may not devote all her time to sewing and making her own costumes now, she probably has before and may still do so as a hobby now. If cosplay was her way in to the modeling business, then when she started out, I bet she spent just as much time making outfits just like other cosplayers.
