No, the hiring of senior level talent here is a GOOD thing. If you know WHO they have hired, then you see that they got some nice people on board, and some of them are bringing BACK people who departed Retro for other projects, but returning for this one. Here’s Game X Plain to break it down:

Tommy Tallarico’s primary gig is composing (and celebrating) game music. He’s done quite a few game soundtracks, hosted the Video Games Live concert series (which I went to once and it was awesome), and he’s still active in game music today.

There’s a show KIND of like that currently airing on Disney XD... which seems... WILDLY inappropriate given that it always has to include the disclaimer “This is a General Audiences show” with cursing bleeped out, heads transplanted onto people or things in random clips for no apparent reason at all, and I for the

Watching the show in Japanese with the subtitles was the best.  So many awesome feats and challenges with nail biting tension.

Good news:

Okay, if G4 is being brought back from beyond the beyond, a couple of suggestions:

If I may step in: I’d like to direct folks’ attention to Hi-Score Girl.

It’s nice seeing this kind of respect being paid to well known players in the fighting game circuit. Not just the inclusion of their characters/likenesses, but also consideration of who they are and acknowledgement of who they are.

Am I missing something? How has nobody said anything about freakin’ WARIO being the “Dark Lord of DLC”???  It’s PERFECT!

Would love to see someone go to some fancy art museum, sneak inside, and then ADD one of these paintings to the walls there and see how long it takes for anyone to notice that it’s renaissance-style Pokemon hanging in their galleries.

That would be GLORIOUS!

I can see that being a reasonable thing for DLC.

Yeah, music licensing is pretty much the equivalent to wading through a waist-deep, muddy swamp from my understanding. The fact that they were able to leave out only five songs from the combined selection of games 1 & 2, that’s actually kind of impressive.

I’ve only just read the headline. I have not yet read anything else in this article yet, but before I do, I just want to share these:

Brainstorming has its ups and downs, and while I can see the potential in something like this, it just would not work for Biden. I could see Trump pulling this kind of stuff, and the people that already dislike him will likely dislike him even more considering the implications of a 60 ft. tall holographic projection.

If you transform using cassette players and cassettes that contain the different monsters, can we also get monsters where instead of “Fire/Water/Grass/Electric/etc.” we get ones based off various musical styles? (Funk/Synthwave/Hip-Hop/etc.)

Speaking on the impact and importance of Wizardry, I’d like to point out that the first game actually got an anime adaptation; believe it or not.

You see, this tidbit of wisdom on Internet etiquette and communication is something that I think should be taught in schools so that when people leave comments or feedback, they don’t leave room for misinterpretation (or at least minimize it).  Well said, clear cut, and good advice!

I tried BitSummet Gaiden a couple times. It’s nearly IMPOSSIBLE! Dang ninjas flying on rocket jetpacks throwing shuriken at me! And if you die, you get sent ALL the way back to the start of 6-1. If anyone thinks they can clear it, I’d like to see it!

Got into a small chat with someone on Twitter on how an “Ultraman Mario” would work.
