No love for the SCA?

According to Wikipedia, the base sound (the hum) is from a projector, and the interference caused (in the microphone) by running a CRT next to a mic.

Deoderant works with the twist-bottom system because it doesn't matter that there is a screw running down the centre of the product, making a hole. Not so easy for pringles. And you could arrange some kind of "thread" that runs up the inside like the inside of a nut (with the bottom being the "bolt" that screws up),

Wow. Someone's re-invented DidTheyReadIt.com, which was first launched back in 2003 and did exactly the same thing, in exactly the same way, for free.

"This doesn't affect your ability to stream media over UPnP, so there's no reason to have it enabled on any of your devices." - Well, not if you don't like easy connectivity. UPnP on routers (also called "NAT-PMP", or "Network Address Translation, Port Mapping Protocol") allows applications running behind NATing

It's such a shame this is US only. And perhaps that should be made clear in the article.

The problem with the mpg scale is that it's inversely logarithmic. So the difference between 1 and 6 mpg is considerably more than the difference between 95 and 100 mpg. Which is why when the system is switched to metric, it's measured in Litres per 100km.

Here's hoping they get these guys to do it.

Watched it. Loved it. Very upset that it's not going any further. Tweeted my displeasure at Bell Media. I wonder if they're trying to become the Canadian Fox for killing good Sci-Fi...

My computer history:

Correct. 500's had OCS. 500+ and 600's had ECS, and 1200's had AGA.

On the bottom? Are you insane?

Personally, I'm a very great fan of BS1363, for a number of reasons.

Actually, you can do the same with a Cricut too, you just need to get the (third-party, unsupported) "Sure Cuts A Lot" package. It works wonders, and turns your Cricut into a cutting beast.

Actually, they are triple-dipping (at the very least):

Producers have a new idea for a show (Really? (REALLY?)), they pitch it directly to the audience. "Kickstarter" your new show, and see what happens. If it meets it's required budget, great! If it doesn't, it's no great loss, and the idea obviously wasn't as popular as the producer thought. It, again, puts things in

Hey, look, I've just finished a load of laundry, and all that hot, dirty water is being sent off down the drain. If only there were some way to get a little of the power I used to heat the water back.

ProjectX is awesome. Team 17 at their best, with a rocking soundtrack. I will hear nothing against it.

Isn't that "Barbasol" can the same thing that Dennis Nedry used to smuggle the dinosaur embryos in Jurassic Park? Like the prop version featured in this video...
