But there IS a JPL logo on Curiosity, along with a NASA one. Just grab this Panoramic image (posted by your sister site IO9): http://io9.com/5934183/this-interactive-app-is-the-best-way-to-experience-curiositys-panoramic-views-of-mars?comment=51807180

While this is an awesome story, it has been told before. However the plot (Good though it is) isn't what really makes this movie shine. It's the humanity shown by both main characters (and the Robot/AI voiced by Kevin Spacey shows HUGE amounts of empathy and humanity, even/especially for a computer). So do watch this

Great. Perfect for EVs. Now all we need to do is work out how to deliver several hundred thousand amps of power quickly and safely.

...Playing a British drinking song...

Like they did with H.264, which can encode a DVD into 700MB without loss of quality? Oh, no, wait, H.264 is the encoding scheme used for Blu-Ray. Or how about VP6/WebM, or XviD/DivX? Nope, those all came to market too. Sorry, bub.

MKV, AVI and MP4 are all containers, able to hold whatever streams you care to place in them. For instance, I could encode a video with Intel Indeo encoding in an MKV container (quite why I'd want to I have no idea, but it's a possibility) with no issue. You could also make an "only audio" MP4 or AVI file. This is

"mkv quality" is meaningless. MKV is a wrapper, just like OGM, MOV and AVI. It's what you put inside that makes the difference. However, there are a fair few tweaks that can be made to H.264 streams that trade encoding complexity and time for quality. I'd suggest hopping on over to Doom9 (The home of people who do a

I thought it was a Futurama reference ('cause, you know, it'd be in keeping), but it turns out this was parodied in The Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror", where the book in question was revealed to be (in order):

That "Again" makes me think there's a story there...

Well, in theory the point is to build anticipation for sexytimes to come (pun unintentional) when one/both of you get home/together. It's also (for some people) something of the thrill of doing something "Naughty"/illicit/taboo in public where the chances of getting caught are greater.

When I lived 5,000 miles away from my then-girlfriend (now wife), it wasn't "Sexting", but laying in bed with a Skype connection to talk each other to sleep (6 hours difference in timezone) often led to kinda-sorta-cyber-sexytimes. But that's a long-distance relationship. So "No" then.

It's easy.

I hope not. At the end of spring here in Saskatchewan, Canada, it can reach upwards of 35c (That's 95f for you backwards people that still use Fahrenheit).

It really IS bad in an MST3K kind of way... Look: http://www.rifftrax.com/rifftrax/battlefield-earth

Agreed. So very worth it! Ooh... That's gotta hurt...

And if you don't have a group of your own, download the RiffTrax commentary and laugh your ass off.

Erm... Guys... "Here's how to ensure your spank bank is as secure as the Tower of London."... The Tower of London is a tourist attraction. Not, perhaps, the best metaphor to use for this, y'know...

Wow. A little profanity and they get their knickers in a knot. Next they'll be banning dictionaries, as these foul-mouthed word-lists have every profane excitation imaginable listed between their covers!
