It’s okay, it’s just my favorite game ever! I played the NTSC version once, more than ten years ago, using certain methods, but I really wanted to revisit it. Made a perfect FFVII save game last year, and wanted to do the same with Xenogears.

I’m in Europe. I almost managed to forget, but you just had to remind me. :(
Probably. Kain’s Double Jump is long range. If you had Wakka, he can use long range weapons too. You can reach them with magic, so your best bet is to use as many Thundaras as possible, but I can see that you don’t use Rydia either, despite being the best mage. :) It’s a throwback to the elevator boss fight in FFVII…
Yeah. When you’re near the top, around the last 3 level groups or so, it starts taking like 40 stamina for each of them. Then the bosses become a lot harder (bring long ranged characters!) compared to all the floors before. And when you finally beat Rufus at the end, he simply tells you that Sephiroth is in another…
They just revealed Tifa and Sephiroth as playable characters in FFRK. You need to battle your way through the 70 floors of Shinra Building. You do get Tifa in the middle, but when you get to the top it turns out to be a prank...
Uncensored visual novels!
There are a few features that I've checked in from time to time to see if they have already been implemented.
So now even concept art uses chromatic aberration? Does anyone know which game started this trend?
I started playing it on Android, but as soon as I turned off my wifi connection, the game stopped working. Is this an online only game?
One of my top 5 favorite manga. Surprised to see it featured here :)
Xenoblade is also one my top 5 favorite games ever. It's even my favorite game of the last 15 years, and even though I pretty much 100%'ed the game already, I still have the urge to play it all over again.
... *spoiled*
I would totally take Golden Time over Kyoukai no Kanata too, but... Golden Time will end in 2014 so it's not eligible this time ;)
Overall good choices, I thought this year was pretty good for anime. Besides the ones listed by Kotaku, I'd also feature a few others such as:
I think noone mentioned Cowboy Bebop because the OP said that he has already seen it. About Samurai Champloo, despite having enjoyed it, it was probably the biggest case of "style over substance" that I've ever seen... The animation, music and overall style was really great and refreshing, but there was almost no plot…
I came here to recommend Monster and Space Brothers too, but it looks like the other guys already had me covered :)

...Magic Eye Tetris!
Confusion with Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai perhaps.
