Not just the credits song; she composed, performed and produced the entire soundtrack. ;)

This might be a bit off topic, but I felt a very strong physical reaction, similar to nausea, as soon as the main theme started. I immediately felt that the song was out of tune. At first I thought that it was transposed down a half step. But it's actually more of a fractional amount such as one third of a step, which

Yep, when I run out of patience, probably. Still holding some hope alive though. I remember thinking the same thing about Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and the Spyro the Dragon trilogy, which were also missing, and they finally decided to bring them over to the European PSN last christmas.

I'm European so there is no Xenogears on PSN for me... Actually, there is not even Suikoden I, which makes this article sting a bit :(

Xenogears, Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger

Mild, I would say.

I am really surprised to see Akumetsu mentioned here. It is definitely one of my favorite mangas, but I've never met anyone who had read it. I would also recommend Sanctuary for a more realistic take, on a somewhat similar subject. Wolf Guy, on the other hand, left me really disappointed towards the end, although I

Seeing the screenshots at a lower resolution, the problem is not visible, because the artifacts are 1 pixel wide, and the downsampling gets rid of those details. But at least on a retina screen with the brightness set above 30%, it is completely noticeable. Squares everywhere, with a 1 pixel messed up border around

Really... It's a direct screenshot from an iPad retina display.

PS: You have to open the image in a new tab to see it in full size. The thumbnail looks fine.

I love how seamless the transitions between tiles look. No color bleeding or any sort of artifacts. (Look at this screenshot at full size).

All of these low resolution screenshots are hiding a serious issue with the graphics of this version of the game: there are color bleeding artifacts around every tile, making it very noticeable where each tile ends, even when the tiles were supposed to tile seamlessly. This is the result of using bilinear filtering on

What's the current status for europe?

Those were also exactly my thoughts when I opened this article...

You've searched for: Xenogears

I loved it, not as much as Chrono Trigger, but if you think of it as a standalone game you will probably enjoy it too. Some things that stood out to me:

Your comment was reasonable until the "crappy combat" bit. It's not "crappy combat" just because *you* don't like it.

Thanks. At least it's "early" 2013.

Somewhat related to this: any news about "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD" for iOS? Everything I find is back from August and says that it would be coming out this fall...

Wow, Cytus is bloody amazing! How come Kotaku never featured the game? Thanks for the tip! :)
