But they were all MIDI... at least in the sense that they were made by routing digital note data through a sampler. Quality could vary depending on the quality of the sampled instruments, but it’s hard to reach the quality of an actual recording.

What is this “gay-bating of typical sports anime” that you’re talking about? I’ve watched close to one hundred sports anime so far, and there’s only about half a dozen that I would even think of describing like that. Also, all of them are very recent, so it’s definitely a new trend... I’m seriously curious, as if you

Don’t know if someone else has already mentioned it, but I laughed hard when I saw these last year in Akihabra: ”Street Fighter II Dogeza Strap” series. In retrospective, I should have bought one.

Damn, I now realize that the music on this video must be forever linked in my memory to the The Witness’s challenge, which I have been so close to beating multiple times and always manage to fuck up in the end...

Sure, grandpa.

Modern in some aspects, sure. Pity it still uses that outdated turn-based battle system. I hope they make it more action oriented for the next entry. Get with the times, ffs. *groan* :V

I can’t say that I’m informed about the subject of homophobia in Japan that you mention, but I was surprised that all the times I went to the cinema in Japan a few months ago, they always showed a trailer for an upcoming yaoi anime movie, and no one in the audience batted an eye or made any sort of homophobic remark.

The official opening is good, but I still wish it was this one instead:

Oh, damn, Empire of Corpses and Harmony are still on the cinemas?! They’ve been on my radar for a while, but since they’re not being shown on the cinemas I usually go, I almost missed them!

I haven’t seen too many anime live actions before, but I took the chance this month and went to see both Ore Monogatari and Bakuman. Had a blast with both of them! I get the feeling that these two are probably above average in terms of quality?

She sounds normal, but is still very cute. Especially when she does her (≧▽≦) face.

I loved walking through the “music games” floor and seeing all the japanese monster gamers there. One of them even brought his own set of gloves and was completely destroying one of the games.

Probably not. Since absolute precision is not a requirement here (e.g. the game only shows three numbers to the right of the decimal point) a regular double-precision floating-point variable would do the job. They’re 64 bits long and let you work with numbers up to around 10^308 (in several common programming

Wait a minute... you’re not Tina!

Only three years?
