Madonna is "an old" and you'll hear this "why can't I?" argument from the people who lived during the CRM all the way down to their grandchildren. There are obvious indicators that show white/Asian kids that the doors of using nigga aren't open. The people doing the music and being referred to in the music are black.

Exactly. This probably would have made a lot of people laugh, but once again we're back to not drawing controversial attention. #oldbitchproblems?

The thing that bothers me about people trying to make nigga the ubiquitous and innocuous version of "this guy" is that non-blacks could easily use their own group's racial/ethnic slurs. Why ride black people's reclamation bandwagon when you could create your own. She could have said, "this guy", which is exactly what

I saw this on Buzzfeed last night and was like, "Oh, Madonna". She knows. I've only liked Madonna in "A League of Their Own" and "Who's that Girl?". I've basically been outside of her target demographic my whole 25+ years, but that post was clearly for attention.

She's just waiting until he's old enough to use it as a term of endearment to him.

I have been waiting for this post since last night.

Thought I was missing something until you said it.

That Outkast posting is the best part of this dirtbag. It's about to be one of those nights.

You will not get me to denounce my love of crop tops, especially with baggy jeans, hoop shorts, or sweat pants. Aaliyah, in all her fellow Detroit glory, was definitely a huge factor in this. Am I supposed to care about looking dated after the time I took the picture has naturally passed or am I shooting for timeless?

I brought this up about Netflix's tenuous connections a year ago. Paid in Full and For Colored Girls... have nothing in common besides black actors. I found out that on Netflix, "African American" and "Latino" are basically genres. You can rate how often you would watch or how interested you would be in either "genre".

The question that led to everyone finding out that Mark is Doug.

Ok, I thought I recognized him. The rest of these people do not register.

This post made me fear being spoiled before the 19th. I'm in love with this restaurant scene.

This is exactly my feeling. Like, what was the moment she realized the present wasn't for her? Did she open it and then see the "For: Mama Kaye"? Was it when there were obvious pictures of the Obama family? I really don't understand the interview.

So who alerted the media about the Christmas gift mistake?

I immediately teared up when I saw this gif.

I don't know why I looked that up. All those articles do is either piss me off or make me laugh at the (usually white) author. Ah, yes, white people haven't said it around you or on one of your sitcoms. Clearly, no other people even know it's a thing, let alone used it for years.

I watched "Happily Ever After" as a kid on HBO, that definitely isn't their creation. They used a much different artistic style. I do think it's interesting that the knockoff kept the bayou theme, but gave faux-Tiana some "African" clothing elements.

Nicole Beharie. Although they would need to give her some breast padding, she's my height, approximate skin tone, and has long hair. I think she's one of the most beautiful women in existence, so that's a plus, but from what I've seen in interviews we have similar mannerisms. I basically started watching Sleepy Hollow

That book sounds amazing. Do you remember the titles? My parents always colored in characters for a lot of those books.
