@bobby_2: Earlier in the week it was 33% off of $20, but I think it was a mistake. I was happy to get it for $13 but mainly cause I wanted to have it on Steam for easy downloading. If you just want to save some cash then Amazon has it for $10 [www.amazon.com] and Newegg has it for $6 [www.newegg.com]

@Misha Uchiha: That's awesome, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info!

@BARDLER: That's not at all true. Do you mean add people to a party? If so then yes and it is silly, I agree. You can add to your friendlist from anywhere, though, and they don't need to be online at all, let alone within 60ft.

You can't tell me this wouldn't make for an awesome burial.

When I was in undergrad some of my professors were involved in work in Jamaica studying dance as a signifier of body symmetry (which may, itself, be a signifier of good health or of an otherwise desirable phenotype). They also used mo-cap technology for collecting some of their data.

@X.Vandell: To answer your first question: Yes, it's been "fixed" (i.e. changed) and no, you won't be pursued to the ends of the earth (or the zoneline at any rate). Zoning is fluid for most (but not all) of the areas in FFXIV, meaning you don't lose control while the game loads a new area. As a consequence it'd be

@RogueA: Okay, that last bit was the part I was missing. It makes a lot of sense, especially in light of the final story-song: the scientist is assuming they have a female based on similarities with humans, but his "mermaid" is actually a merman. I feel silly; I should have seen that.

Story discussed below!

This is interesting; especially since I just finished Galileo's Dream!

@Ashurahori: For what it's worth (virtually nil) I would buy a musical romance opera Resident Evil in a heartbeat. (Also: are there non-musical operas?)

@snarky30: That was so bad it made me forget what I camphor.

@bobobaba: Are the numbers that important? If there was some kind of narrative I suppose it would make sense, but otherwise it doesn't seem really necessary.

I approve! And I love how graceful it looks in the video.

@Indigen: I've played an embarrassing number of MMOs (not simultaneously) and one of these abductions was the first time I encountered a "true" live event in any of them. The spontaneous and chaotically-hectic nature of the event with players rushing to fit combat ships (it occurred in Eystur, so pretty much everyone

@Unfather: I spent an entire afternoon recently mapping costs to set up the cheapest-possible planetary infrastructure capable of turning out wetware mainframes, based entirely on the notion that it'd be really cool to make wetware mainframes. When I excitedly told my brother I could do it with without having to

@CFStang: The irony is that outside EVE Online many folks are like "what about Dust 514, CCP, you keep working on EVE!" and inside EVE Online folks are like "what about EVE, CCP, stop working on Dust 514!" Without committing to an opinion re: responsibility the poor guys can't catch a break from anyone.

Hey, all's fair in love and funerals.
