Mr. Appalachian has a run-off (he'll win easily against his tea party opponent) and then he's against her. I hope we get a debate first, though, so I can watch her hand him his ass.

Ugh, what is it with these politicians? On my drive home from work yesterday I spent time pondering whether politics attracts people with major character flaws or the environment of politics makes normal people go batshit insane. Still haven't figured out the answer.
