My dad was giving me hell for paying for Spotify Premium. “Ten bucks a month? That adds up, you know!” And then I showed him my yearly wrapped from last year. For 2018, it averaged out to about 2 hours of music for each dollar I spent. More than worth it, plus I discover so much new stuff! AND it’s a great podcast app.

I think it’s worth mentioning The Adventure Zone and Critical Role as well, not just because I enjoy them, but because the live-play DnD podcast market is pretty huge. TAZ had not one, but two bestselling graphic novels (with another one on the way) as well as sold out national tours. They’ve influenced an entire

Hell yeah, new flavors. Listen. Is White Claw a trend? Yes. Is it tasty and low-fuss? Yes. It’s not heavy like beer, it’s cheap-ish and easy to find everywhere, and it’s a chill thing to bring to a party or drink on the patio.

The best read about Thanksgiving. Sometimes you lean into the suck, and life finds a way to remind you that amid the suck there are some pretty rad bits too. Thanks, Aimee!

Growing up, one of my friends did a bunch of these things. Avon, Mary Kay, all sorts of parties. When I got older, all of my colleagues and friends at my workplace had them for Thirty-One bags, Origami Owl, Pampered Chef, and more.

Loving this series. Long live the Scamp!

Man from U.N.C.L.E., Fury Road, and Skyfall all have to be up there for me.

Came here to say this!  My roommate bought a three whisk set from IKEA when she moved in, and the largest size is so annoying to try and store!  We now only use medium and tiny, and they are amazing.

Honestly, this just fits in with the liminal space vibe of an airport. People from all over, out of time, and society breaking down. Gotta love it.

Seriously. I have never been able to make a loaf of bread that I would serve to another person.  I eat my underproved loafs myself of course, but I don’t quite know what I’m doing wrong.  I don’t know if I am not kneading enough or if I need better flour or what!

We had a very popular Halloween parade in the next town, so I stopped trick or treating when I had to march in the parade every year with my marching band. So 7th grade was the last one for me. The parade was always fun, but I distinctly remember huddling around some diesel generator lights for warmth before we

Warm fruit pie a la mode til I die.  I will eat cold pie, of course, but I agree that the crust suffers, especially the bottom crust, when it cools. Give me that melty vanilla ice cream and all the gooey fruit goodness. Excuse me, I think I need to hit the grocery store on the way home for some ingredients.

Can confirm. Every single dealership I dealt with in person treated me like I had no clue the last time I was shopping for a car. One in particular made me so mad. I started off nicely when they wanted to show me a full-sized SUV that was fifteen grand over my budget when I had said very clearly that I was looking at

A) I’m very glad you’re not dead. B) This looks like the cutest little trailer and I can’t wait to see it when you’re all done.

A friend and I were discussing our preferred sparkling water brands.  He was about Perrier and Pellegrino.  I was about Bubly.  I laughed and told him, you like the bubbles, and I like the flavor!

When I was looking for a new job, I decided to let my lease expire and stay at home for a while to save up for moving expenses. It was 70 miles door to door through the middle of nowhere country roads, so it was about an hour commute.

This is a bad take, drive thru haters. I’m a librarian, and I can tell you that there’s still a big digital divide, especially in small towns. Here in my moderately sized capital city, only about 70% of people have access to the internet at home, leaving a lot of people without options for ordering food.

Congrats, Marnie!!! You did a great job, Kevin, and I can’t wait to see what you do next! Peace and hot dogs, sir.

I completely understand. GBBS can consume one’s life like I consume cake. Haha.
