Sounds pretty gay to me.
Sounds pretty gay to me.
Hang in there, and sorry you’re going through all this. May your remaining trimesters be easy, your delivery quick and relatively painless, culminating in a healthy baby and a very relieved you.
Lol, I’d say I wouldn’t wish pregnancy on my worst enemy, but I want more than anything for every Republican male in congress to experience exactly what I’m experiencing.
Sorry in advance for the rant, but it sucks that our expectations of pregnant women have gone from one controlling extreme to the next, because at 13 weeks, I personally would love if I could be in confinement and not ever be expected to leave the comfort of my bed/sofa.
I think you’ll find there’s something not right with what *Americans* do to “yams” but the vegetable itself is innocent.
Like the plane doesn’t already reek from someone’s airport Whataburger with extra onion...people are bringing whole-ass Thanksgiving dinners on the planes now?
If you see a grown employee behaving at all inappropriately with a 14 year old and don’t fire them immediately, what the fuck are you doing??
Once I was at a restaurant that had a young hostess, she was likely barely 16 (it’s often an entry level job for someone new to work). As we were eating I saw another employee…
I seriously have no idea what the word “cute” means anymore. Apparently, stuff like this? Parents making their kids cry by lying to them? I wouldn’t call that cute. I’d call it “being an asshole.”
Agree, but these are not pranks. This is some serious emotional abuse.
I see this more as a phenomenon of reinforcement of traditional male gender roles by traditional female gender roles. So that’s where heterosexuality factors in, because you’re seeing the dynamic of traditional gender roles in a relationship of a cis man and cis woman.
This is a disproportionately heterosexual thing, tho-it plays into existing straight dynamics around cheating, power, and relationship dynamics. Not that such things don’t also exist in LGBT spaces, just that they’re a lot less common. It’s the modern version of “Please, take my wife!”
I’m straight and my reaction is “who are these people?” as well. So there’s that. Performing the worst leftover shit from a script where “romance” equates to distrust is just repulsive.
It’s not just you. I couldn’t end a relationship fast enough with someone who pulled this crap.
Anybody who does shit like this to get a rise out of their partner doesn’t deserve to be in a relationship. This is some seriously immature shit, which is why it pissed me off that Jez initially described this behavior as somehow being “cathartic” at the start of lockdown.
The straights are not okay. I say this as a straight person who is THISCLOSE to cross-stitching “damn it feels good to be a spinster” on a throw pillow. But part of this “trend” is simple narcissism exacerbated by the siren’s call of social media, which is hard for someone of any sexual orientation to resist.
I’m not sure what this has to do with heterosexuality. This seems more like narcissists being narcissists. Implying that this is proof of some kind of overarching toxicity that exists as a unique part of heterosexual relationships is just dumb.
This is what happens when you mix basic heterosexuality with exhibitionist narcissism and attention-seeking.
Is it just me, but if I was staged in a situation (on public media no less) where my other half deliberately tried to trigger jealousy, I’d seriously reconsider my relationship with them.....
Who are these people...
Seems that final line is calling Grimes a prostitute, and not in a “sex work is work” kind of way. I’m trying to think in what way that sentiment would be out of place on an MRA forum, and am coming up empty.
