I’ll agree with you. That last statement “college doesn’t matter” is confusing.

The terms ‘college’ and ‘university’ are often (colloquially) used interchangeably in the US; whereas in Canada, the term ‘college’ usually refers to vocational post-secondary institutions and ‘university’ to more academic post-secondary institutions.
