Entering information into a console is not a mod when entering data in that window is a pretty regular occurrence. If you had to hack or modify the game to open that window, that would be a mod. It's definitely a cheat, but it's still the same old regular game. Nothing new has been added. Even the script wouldn't

Superman has had his solar energy depleted before (the most obvious time being right after the "Death of Superman" when he came back with the black suit and longer hair) and got his powers back pretty quickly. Each version has a different take on it, one way you can think of it as the longer Superman is exposed to

Yup. But a clever enemy (let's assume it's Darkseid for sake of argument) would orchestrate it that there was no other way to stop it other than that power.

Well, yeah, that would prevent him from using THAT power, but he still has a ridiculous arsenal of other ways to win. The big time baddies would use that knowledge to force him to detonate to destroy, say, a quarter mile battle station about to attack Metropolis from orbit, and then take him out when he's recovering.

I... kind of like this? It seems like a good avenue for potential stories and a logical progression of powers. I thought I would be dead set opposed to any new powers for Supes, but I think this works.

The worst part is that he used to be a respected doctor before the delusions set in. Now the only job he can get is as an amateur plumber. And he barely has any work.

As someone who considers themselves pretty familiar with Miyazaki movies, there are some things that I'm not positive are from specific movies. Anyone care to convert the labels to English?

Is it possible that the New 3DS will reduce the interface lag?

I'm... still saying that no game since the original Mario Bros has referenced Mario being from Brooklyn. Miyamoto's recent interview confirms that it was based there and I'm not doubting it. As I said, Nintendo and Miyamoto have done nothing to disavow the Brooklyn origin for the Mario Bros game. That's not in

I don't think there's any dispute that the original Mario Bros game was meant to be in the sewers below Brooklyn when it came out. I mean that no game has referenced that fact since then.

It was never explicit, but still, it's a decently sized city of at least several hundred residents, many of them are human. Even if Wario invested heavily and renamed it Diamond City (which is totally not his style, that would be Wario City or something very close to it), the people would have come from somewhere.

Captain Lou Albano wouldn't stand for it and neither will I. Let's just say that a section of Diamond City is named Brooklyn and leave it at that.

Or we can argue that the the referee is simply a cameo in a Nintendo game. Nobody is bringing up the portrait of Mario and Bowser in Legend of Zelda, or Mario being in the crowd in Kirby Super Star. Punch Out is pretty far out there to include in an official timeline.

Since it takes place in a dreamworld, and no named characters are ever references in the future as "having met before", SMB2 could logically go anywhere on the list.

The only point of contention for me is the whole Brooklyn thing. I'm pretty sure it's never been disavowed, but it's very out of place and hasn't been referenced in a very long time. I'm personally of the mind that Mario and Luigi grew up in Diamond City, the mostly human city where the Warioware games take place.

No argument, Chain was the worst one of the bunch (though Coded wasn't great either...)

Would have much rather seen Project M over Melee. It might not be a popular opinion, but I'm over Melee. Project M is more fun and more interesting to watch.

I agree with you, it's too dark and gloomy. Realistic doesn't mean shadows everywhere.

Now I know what will happen when the Meeples come to life.

It's like twin hookshots from the Zelda series combined with webslinging. Bursts of gas are used to steer. At least that's how I understood it.
