That was an interesting read (and again: show some longer comics), and I really like the art style. Uncertain as to where it’s going, though.

Except for the fact that no studio; perhaps especially Disney; uses practical effects anymore.

I’m OK with that. It’s the one movie that held up well after I rediscovered it in my teens. I don’t really want to see a remake or modern sequel.

I’m 100% certain that this has been seriously looked into for at least a generation. Anything like this... I know it’s an unfair comparison, but it’s like gun control laws when firearms are so readily available on the black market.

Pretty much, yeah. Damn genetics, and my hoping that I could go out with a full-hobo beard; now I know that I’m going to have this “nothing above the lower lip” grow forever.

I knew I was entering 2nd Puberty when my wife suggested that I start trimming my nose hairs.

Oh god, don’t get me started. For me, 90% of the physical changes were from 15 to 17. Went from being the 8th grade body my junior year to being my current height just in time for graduation. As a side effect I still sometimes forget how large I am.

Holy shit, I now have a face to put to my facial hair in 40 years, and I am depressed.

Bones. I was that scene from An American Werewolf in London for almost two years; I grew from 5’0” to 6’2” in around two months. I pretty much couldn’t sleep for weeks at a time because of the pain.

There is not a single one of these videos that doesn’t make my non-smoking ass laugh like I’m high as balls.

Kinja... why is it when I post a brief positive response, you then show me this as my own pending comment? How the heck does that even happen? WTF Kinja, wtf.

Horrible trailer was definitely horrible. Having watched the first episode, I actually cannot imagine what they were thinking with that trailer. I don’t know if I’m going to like the show in the long run, but it’s certainly worth checking out.

More to the point, a tube is easier to extrude/create. From what I remember some thought has been put into “inflatable” craft that are spherical, but past a certain size you’d have inconsistencies in the material that would make it unusable.

Makes me wonder... does he still shoot himself because of Nirvana, or have they moved it to some more modern surrogate (“One Direction breaking up? NOoOooo!”). I can get onboard with the idea that he’s a Nirvana fan who was also too dumb to know that Cobain killed himself until (a) he’d listened to all the music (b)

It’s a cool premise, and I like the art style, but it would be nice if you’d cover webcomics that take more than 5 minutes to read the whole archive. Also, sorry lovely artist, but it seems like your site is getting the hug of death of the laggyness is anything to go by.

Dear lord, where was the copy editor on this article? There are so many errors that obviously pass spell-check but are just as obvious as the fact that “spell-chuck” passes. Lauren, you be better dan dis!

Because black people can’t be comic-book superheros, world-renowned scientists, and get the girl. Duh.

You're not wrong. Wings take a lot of work to pull off in anything but a stationary position; I think Constantine did a good job, but the extent of their use was "I'm an angel and have wings, look at me spread them". Even Falcon in Winter Soldier had some issues with the wings looking funky or not quite matching up

Except this person almost undoubtedly doesn't have that kind of money and the fine would never get paid.

Scorpius scared the piss out of me when the series first aired (and I was a teenager). An alien hybrid with an redoubtably broken mind, but embedded into a government which had granted him almost unlimited power and freedom.
