Try it being your younger teenage sister that you can barely stand for more than the general bro/sis issues (the damn girl once came at me with the claw end of a hammer, and I have a scar on one eye 15 years later from another incident where she came millimeters from blinding me).

the legend of the "crusty dildo"

Head's American accent isn't horrible; it's just not an American accent. It's in the "Uncanny Valley" of accents. It's just close enough to right that you don't notice it immediately, and it doesn't sound like someone putting on a bad accent; it just sounds like English spoken by someone from a culture that has

I dunno. For me, he's been the selling point for a few films that i might have otherwise passed.

You've all got it wrong. This does not belong on a tshirt, this belongs on a coffee mug and it must exist now.

You're correct that there's a lot of symbolism involved. There the "fire fighting fire" that you allude to, and there's also the "brilliant sorcerer-savior-arsehole who is too stupid to stop smoking" bit. It's a severe flaw of the individual, and one that is hammered into him over and over again.

I can't be bothered to pull up a statistic right now, but it's somewhere in the realm of at least 50/50.

God, I hate places that only sell americano. I either want a cup of coffee, or I want an espresso; I've learned my lesson too many times that espresso + hot water =/= good coffee.

...they don't do "popcorn grease" in the UK... damn I miss that artery-clogging goodness...

I'm an American that works in London. I've has everything between "wut?", laughter, and the near fistfight from things I've said that didn't translate well.

I'll do that with vendors (a large part of my job is purchasing/procurement) when I need to make sure that they deal with it on their side with enough time for stuff to go out in the next wave. I also apologize profusely for it, but they know I only do it when it's warranted.

Exactly. Doing this would get me fired.

As another owner, I have to agree. Definitely leaps and bounds above TVs in the same price range. My only issue is that Sharp has basically gotten out of the sub-40" market, and I just don't see the point in going that size without 4K.

As a longtime fan, I honestly believe that this is going to turn into (at worst) an absolute cult hit. I really do hope that they make the push for theater release, even if it isn't profitable in the long run.

We have a choice: you're a troll account or a desperately crazy person. I choose to live in a world where someone thinks this is funny, as opposed to one where pants-on-head-crazy people wander the countryside.

Wow, this is an elaborate troll account.

This is one of those shows that I've been looking to re-watch for years, I've just never found it. I'd also really like to watch a few episodes of Finders Keepers, which most people I've talked to don't even remember having existed.

The first movie was an "ok" movie, but a kinda pour Planet of the Apes movie (long story. in short, i think they spent too much time trying to make the movie relevant to the modern world for something that was not guaranteed to move onto sequels. the first act (or prelude) to this movie could have been tacked onto

Yes, that's exactly the same thing.

It's the same as the difference in people (profiles, for another term) that steal: you have people who grab something off a shelf in a store, you have people who will grab someone's purse or wallet while unattended, you have people who will directly rob someone, you have people who will break into an
