The biker was rear-ended because he cut in front of the SUV and brake-checked him. It's clear as day in the fucking video. You see the biker turn his head and then suddenly slow down.

I think the key lies in the diversity of portrayals.....individual stereotypes have less power when those people are portrayed in a wide range of ways. They don't become defined by them. Non-white groups often do not have that wide range of portrayals in popular culture.
