that's just the thing, as far as the fanbases hating each other, I think the hatred is mostly one-way. Seahawks fans hate the Niners far more than Niner fans hate the Seahawks.

I'm not saying that the Seahawks are not "worthy" of the Niners attention. That is ridiculous. I'm simply saying that there is not enough history to this rivalry yet.

Well, the Niners sucked during that period of 2004-2009, so why would a Niner fan view the Seahawks any differently than they would the Rams or the Cardinals? The Niners teams of that era weren't equipped to compete with any of their division opponents, so there was no "rivalry".
