Yeah, you're right, I just meant that they were endgame, repeatable content for unique, upgrading rewards. Perhaps using the example of WoW's raid system was not a completely accurate comparison.

I started playing STO the day F2P started. I'm a hardcore Trekkie, and I love this game. I find it both a great (not perfect) game and a great Star Trek experience. It's one of the best F2P experiences money doesn't have to buy. So I'm coming from the perspective of a fairly hardcore gamer who loves this game.

That was the Analog Joystick, bro. The Analog joystick was like dual flightsticks only compatable with certain games. The Dual Analog Controller was released on the same day the following year in 1997, well after the N64's release.

[en.wikipedia.org] 1997 is when the Sony came out with their first analog stick, well after the N64 had proved it a success. Sorry bro (or sis).

Ugh...Zelda Scott...cringe worthy....

I feel like the U.S.S. Voyager should be flying through that loop

Sony only added the Analog controller to the PS1 after the Nintendo 64 did. The standard PlayStation controller contained no analog sticks.

This couldn't have been a regular DS or DS Lite. It would at least have to be a DSi (if not a 3DS), as Nintendo DS systems have no photo, audio, or video storage capabilities whatsoever.

I'm hardly surprised

I've always though that RotJ was the best Star Wars movie, and only recently heard differently.

LOVE the tone of this piece.

Nintendo, no question. Final answer.

What would The Doctor do? This is a fixed point in time. The Doctor cannot kill. He will be forced to sit idly by. I would do the same.

I must say, if I was in that situation, I'd also grab every colour 3DS I could. I don't think this is in bad taste at all. The 3DS has been immortalized in a modern Christmas Justin Bieber classic. Okay, I get why everyone thinks it's the worst thing ever now.

Random Obi-Wan is Awesome!

I LOVE this show!

One of my favourite soundtracks is that of Baten Kaitos. It features a lot of voice acting. IT was composed by the same who composed the Golden Sun series.

This will become the new Power Rangers season in about 2-3 years. I'm very excited to see it in Power Rangers form!

One of the best Kotaku Articles I have ever read. Thank you.

This was legitimately my first thought when I heard about this Earthquake. Does that make me a bad person? Rayquaza, why did you let Groudon and Kyogre attack Johto, Kanto, and Sinnoh? Why?!
