The "Control" key should be changed to an Apple "Command" key. ;)

I love "honey cola" or "organic cola" from a company called Pheonix in NZ (I think they have started selling in Australia as well now). They have a really nice range of drinks that targets the niche high-quality drinks market. Not cheap stuff though. I'm keen to try some inca cola sometime. :)
haha it does look ghetto as! I'm surprised Apple didn't put in a video out so that companies can see digital-screen docks.
I use to use a thumbdrive but ever since I got a Macbook I don't feel the need to. It's small and light enough to fit in my backpack. The interface is so nice that I really can't use anything else now.
This is the smartest idea ever! I just love it. I wonder how much the device costs to make and how much power it consumes.
@mckennage: I missed an important point. A fridge only uses electricity if the air inside the fridge has warmed up. But the heat warming up the fridge comes from the heat in the air of the room the fridge is in. So the room cools down. So what essentially is happening is the room is cooling down because of the fridge,…
@mckennage: I am no expert either, but I do have a strong physics background. I think your argument falls apart because you do not take into account the "efficiency" of the heater involved. The "efficiency" in this situation is best defined as the rate of electricity consumption required to maintain a room's…
I recently switched over to [Mail.app] on my new Macbook. Before that, I had been using Thunderbird for a number of years. I decided on the switch for two main reasons: a) I could not get it to alert me properly when I received new mail in OS X (even with plug-ins), and b) tighter integration with calender software &…
@Jim (The Canuck One): Yes but now those people will know when you lie to them!
That's a nice idea. Even if you go to a horrible concert or something, at least you have something to laugh about together! Costs a little more money though... maybe I'm just stingy! :)
I would love to see a Lifehacker article comparing the different scan/ocr solutions out there. I was thinking about the DevonOffice pro but the price tag is quite hefty...
I am happy to spend $40US ($28EUR) for such a stand. It turns out however the French & German Apple stores charge $50EUR or $72US for one. It's around the same price from Griffin site ($40US for the stand but another $40US for shipping to France). Bloody ridiculous! Sucks living in France sometimes...
looks kinda creepy...
@2-7offsuit: Yea I already have NeoOffice but it takes awhile to load up. I can't wait for the Aqua port of OO to be finished! [porting.openoffice.org]
Since Leopard's textedit can open .doc files now, how compatible it is with Word. Anyone had any good/bad experiences?
I have been building/upgrading/tweaking PC's for years running winblows/*nix OSs on them. Recently I got a Macbook and love how everything "just works". Don't have to spend hours fiddling with everything little thing. I just moved overseas so need a new desktop. I'm really interested a 24" iMac... the screen is big…
Great year guys. Now if you are REALLY competitive, you should sum up the number of hits each author has received. That's bound to cause controversy!
Don't lie to yourself about where/when/how you study best. If you are procrastinating at home go to the library. If your friends are distracting you, go study by yourself. For the few weeks between finals, it's ok to be selfish, your friends will either forgive you or won't remember because they're so stressed with…
I have only just joined Wesabe but I am already sold. Most other services (online or offline) that I am aware are very US-centric. I am from New Zealand but I work in France. Therefore I need a service which can track multiple currencies. I have read comments from other users in UK/EURO who appear to be in the same…
The main reason why I would want to "quit" Finder is not because of the minuscule extra amount of processing, but rather, the extra clutter it adds to the application switcher (apple+tab) list. In fact, it's a general problem I have with OS X (I'm still running tiger btw, please hurry with your up-to-date program…
