I strongly disagree. I like it better than the first Raimi, but it doesn't approach 2 or 3 for me. However, I'm aware that I'm not in a lot of company on 3.

Depends on Lucas' level of involvement. There seems to be quite a list of producers/writers with their fingers in this, including people from the OT. It may be hard to peg a style for it, and I'm not sure it will feel like 1/2/3, even though it's unquestionably going to be buried in CG (knock on wood, though).

I'm hoping they'll get him to do Trek 3, which will force Disney to tap somebody else for SW VIII. Star Wars will be better off if they juggle directors. I think production companies are overvaluing the benefit of keeping one director on for a whole series. You're begging for it to get stale.
