Because she "knew" she was going to win the Oscar, but she was still surprised when it happened? That honestly seems to have been when the hate started - like she was fine until she won some awards and then everyone (not me!) hated her.

The problem is, it isn't the company's money. It's the employee's money, which the company withholds from their paycheck to pay for their health insurance. The employee should have the right to use that money to pay for whatever kind of birth control they want to use, without having to pay additional out-of-pocket…
I believe it. I can't even count the number of times I sat in traffic on I-35 and couldn't understand how it can be backed up in both directions at the same time.
It was great fun. If you can't get to New York, they might start touring the show in the next year or so.
if only they'd bring back Are You Afraid of the Dark, then we'd really have some 90s preteen horror going.
Sidecars are my favorite, too, but it's so hard to find someplace around me (Texas) that knows how to make them.
I wish I had gotten to see Anything Goes - I was in it in high school, and it would have been amazing to see on Broadway.
I saw Sutton Foster in The Drowsy Chaperone on Broadway, and she was fantastic. I may have to start budgeting for a NYC trip, since I would love to see her live on stage again.
I watch it every year on Christmas Eve, no matter what other people say. It is the best Christmas Carol ever.
The hilarious part of this image to me is that I once had a boss who told me I needed to dress more like the first picture, because I dressed too feminine and it would intimidate the women I was presenting to. No skirts or dresses, loose fitting tops and flat shoes - preferably boots. To sell software.
I believe that it came about from the number of refugees from the Vietnamese war entering the country, and philanthropists tried to help them start careers and be self supporting. Beautician/nail technician was one of the areas that was heavily promoted, and once they were able to bring relatives over to the country,…
I had the best Jurassic Park themed birthday party when I was ten - I still have the hand painted t-shirt my friend's mother made for me. Everyone loved the theme - boys and girls alike - since dinosaurs are awesome. I salute your kids' good taste!
I am going to a 20s themed bar where I will be drinking a Hemingway Daiquiri. Close enough?
I once found a tombstone with my first and middle names, and a last name that started with the same letter. It creeped me the fuck out, and I normally love wandering around old graveyards.
PETA says so - they're actually highly regulated by the NYPD-ASPCA unit, have strict controls on when and at what temperatures the horses can work, for how long and in what conditions. I actually spent about half an hour talking to one of the NYPD-ASPCA officers in Central Park a few years ago and he was more than…
This is in response to locals who used the park as a free babysitter - dropping off kids as young as 7 first thing in the morning and then picking them up after work. It's not safe for a kid to be there, unsupervised, without a responsible party on property.
Or maybe I just wanted to see the movie, which I really enjoyed? Guess that makes me a terrible plebe. For a supposedly inclusive website, there is a lot of judging going on around here.
I will allow a pass if someone holds a gay Gypsy bar mitzvah for the disabled at the Memorial, but nothing else.
Exactly! They watched and thought, "This is a brilliant idea! Why has no one ever done this before?"
