When I visited the US Holocaust, they were sold out of tickets to the main exhibits, so I went through the exhibit for children, and still ended up crying so much I nearly threw up.

Has anyone else ever noticed the connection between crazy racist/homophobic/right-wing rants and the painful misuse of the quotation mark? They do so love to put things in quotation marks for no good reason at all. Honestly, if there are two things that connect them all, it's quotation marks and the crazy.

And Houston is so unfriendly to pedestrians, even out here in the suburbs. People get so angry when you cross with the right of way in the pedestrian crossing because they needed to turn right that very second or the world will come to an end.

Houston suburbs here. There is no public transit anywhere near my house or my work (I work farther out from the city). I don't know how I'd get to work if I didn't have my car. Or eat. My suburb has a walkability rating of 3% out of 100.
