Epic: Apple and Google are so greedy for charging so much to be on their storefronts
No, Elba was nominated because he also did a great job. Nice try though.
Lol. Lmao, even.
I love hearing people online say over and over again that Miyazaki should be making the Zelda movie and how I have to remind them that he’d rather kill everyone in the room and then himself than make a movie adaption of a video game.
I genuinely think they were super close to that development too. The gamemode suffered a bit from poor stability but that could be forgiven.
Hunt is great, but it’s not exactly a comparable experience to something like Tarkov or DMZ or the Division’s Dark Zone, in its time. There’s little to no emphasis on collecting loot in the match, except for what you take off dead players if you’re doing a budget run. Your entire goal is to get in, kill the boss (or…
Great point! There certainly are other examples out there. I think the ones you mention skew a little differently from what DMZ aimed for, but at the end fo the day, they do still contain that core extraction experience. They’re definitely worth checking out as a replacement to DMZ.
I have never played fortnite, but I actually really enjoy all the random skins. It harkens back to playing Half-Life 1 DM with server-mods and being able to pick to play as the powerpuff girls, or random characters, which was always fun.
Yes.
Your inability to understand the entertainment you consume is your own problem, not theirs.
Nah. Stay mad about it tho.
“They’re annoyed at the enormity at which those things happen, often seeming extremely deliberate in it’s attack on “straight white men”
Oh come on. As a straight white man, absolutely none of those stories with female or minority or LGBTQ even remotely feel like an “attack”. You know why? Because I’m a well adjusted…
I always thought when the TV exec suggests that the characters on Itchy & Scratchy should be asking, “Where’s Poochie?” whenever he isn’t on screen was just a funny bit of absurdity. But I’m realizing that this was actually meant to placate an audience that genuinely wanted to know where Poochie went.
I couldn't get into Futurama because John Futurama never showed up *once*.
This is a hilarious instance to get upset about what you’re claiming though. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is already a deliberate attack on the straight white male protagonist. Scott Pilgrim is not a likable character (that was a big part of why I had mixed feelings about the movie). The point is that he’s a selfish…
The original series was about a guy fighting his girlfriends seven evil ex boyfriends who were all given the personalities of pop culture archetypes in video gamesesque battles.
Nah, it was actually great, and a majority of the criticism comes from people who can’t process stories they don’t immediately relate to.
People incapable of character growth hate character growth.
