Everytime I’ve been to GameStop in the last five or so years I’ve been struck mostly by how paltry their selection is. It’s as though nothing is available without ordering it ahead of time. Best Buy has more recent and varied games in stock than them, and the only Best Buys around me are basically half shuttered.

His argument is nonsensical since, if dumbing down is what is necessary to reach a large audience, why then has it only shrunk the audience? He’s acting like it’s only book fans that have caused the decline, but if his strategy was oh so necessary surely the show should have made up the viewers in droves with more

Meanwhile on PS Store’s new page, no knock offs allowed:

That same logic applies over in animation.

I wish them the best of luck, though the first one just didn’t do anything for me. And it’s probably not a great sign that I keep seeing people mistake this for Multiversus.

This is pretty much what has happened with all of their attempts at inserting real people in, just skinning over their default models. I’d guess it’s so they don’t have to worry about resizing hitboxes.

The main thing everyone should be taking away from this is that being in the military makes you no less susceptible to becoming a crackpot conspiracist than any other person in society, and there’s no reason to act like service automatically grants you credibility.

I never played this game, but I think it sort of just came out at a bad time. Open world games were pretty saturated in 2020 (even Ubisoft had just launched Valhalla a month before) and it was releasing against Cyberpunk which, while that faceplanted, still sucked all the oxygen out of the room so no one was talking

Maybe unpopular opinion but I honestly have always found Tatooine to be one of the least interesting planets of the franchise. I’ve never understood why it’s so popular.

Given the tools available I think a game is absolutely possible, but this definitely is more just a community mod. I tried it out and aside from having some custom audio and victory/defeat screens it’s really not that different than anything you could’ve found before in the community section.

PS Store’s New section is virtually unusable because of that and it’s shocking to me how much it’s featured on the landing page.

Remember when they used to sell trading cards that were just stills of a movie that had just come out? Kind of sounds like that except deprived of even collectors value.

As everyone else is saying, the feed is near unusable. I had hoped that once I had followed enough people there would be less suggestions but that has not happened. For some reason everything after the first five posts is just suggestions, sometimes from days ago and it’s impossible to tell how it’s ordering things.

Warzone keeps wanting to be Fortnite every now and then and it just does not mesh with the whole vibe of the game. Their weird Attack on Titan crossover a while back just looked silly in the context of the game (and then Fortnite did it later anyway to far better results) but this is on another level.

This is how I learned you can get custom oreos for a scant $3 per oreo. What a deal! /s

Keep in mind that this movie is primarily based on the original Borderlands game, which doesn’t have the most complex or hard-to-tell story. So why nearly a dozen writers have been brought in to help poke and prod at the movie’s script, I have no idea.

Maybe there’s just that much bear in it.

Ehhh, brief perusal of their comments are pretty pro trans so pretty sure it’s a joke. To the extent ‘the left’ is mentioned it seems to be critiquing the left -from- the left. Also don’t forget that in Kinja’s profile comment browser it doesn’t distinguish between quoting someone else’s comment and your own which can

When this was announced I was so hoping he was going to be a killer instead. I don’t even play this game.

A bunch of surface level stuff that makes it feel like it’s going to be a similar experience but ultimately has none of the actual substance or soul.
