Got 10 Canadian dollarydoos here that says they’re totally jacking FFVII Remake’s “We’ll call this a remake but actually it’s a pseudo-sequel wherein the events of the original game have already transpired and this is an alternate timeline where we’re gonna try and stop that one thing from happening” schtick.

Gonna be that Sonic fan and point out that based on this extremely limited look at actual gameplay footage, the physics and level design look at a lot more like the Classic Sonic segments of Sonic Generations than they do anything from Sonic Mania.

Why waste the legal fees trying to sue a non-Magic/Pokemon/Yugioh Trading Card Game. Just sit and wait like, a year tops, for it to fail and die off like all the rest of them.

I understand Twitch has a business to run and needs to maximize profits however they can but they also need to be constantly aware that Twitch isn’t like TV or Film, where the talent is secondary to the desires of the network/studio and they can still be guaranteed an audience regardless of what content they’re

They thought the meme stock fiasco was their big revival but forgot that most revival spells only bring you back at 1 HP.

TPCi tends to put a LOT of effort into making sure groups of older fans who take the game too seriously aren’t given much of a platform to do so (through any official channels anyway).

The answer is money, obviously.

The water temple boss was hilarious because the areas leading up to it offered multiple chances to obtain a zora sword which gets double power when you’re wet. I fused something to get it’s attack power up to 37. So when I fought the boss and had to use Sidon’s water shield the sword jumped up to 74 attack power.

FFVII Rebirth is absolutely- and I say this with the utmost certainty I’ve ever had on piece of personal conjecture- *NOT* coming out in 2023.

I feel your frustration with the sentiment, it probably IS a bit of personal entitlement on my part!

That’s the thing though. All the stuff the modders are using are the same things that Game Freak has access to. There’s no reason GF shouldn’t be capable of using those assets as effectively as modders can. Especially with the amount of staff and money GF has behind them.

So is the consensus that D4 is worth the price of buying at launch or should I just wait a year or two for the free-to-play Diablo 5 update?

As always, I’d like to take this occasion to update you on the progress of Luminescent Platinum, the Brilliant Diamond mod made by fans on a budget of exactly 0 dollars which has full 60fps (and faster, more fluid animations) even on actual Switch hardware, all 493 pokemon from gens 1-4 plus any evolutions or

I’m actually quite happy to see the Night in the Woods team releasing something new. Was worried we’d never get anything quite like it again after you know... everything.

10 bucks says the edgy, anti-capitalist game has a Battle Pass and is filled with microtransactions.

...hence the sneaky little wink at the end. ;D

I’m glad they’re doubling down on PC ports but it’s s shame they want to attach so many conditions/later release dates while Microsoft and Nintendo continue to release all their big games to PC day 1 ;D

The bosses, yes. The other 2000 or so battles between them you can pretty safely just mash the A button.

For SOME battles, yes. That was the point I was making. If most classic FF games have, for example, 40/50 battles that require planning/strategy/optimal use of character abilities, they also have you play about 2000 battles that require you to mash the A button to select the Fight command.

Anybody who criticizes FF XVI as being a “departure” because the gameplay is “just button mashing” has never actually played a Final Fantasy game before.
