Of course Sonic fans don’t only want 2D platformers. I just meant in terms of pursuing more opportunities to let new teams (maybe headed by Sonic fans?) design their games.

No, I’m pretty sure I get it.

-and the best part is that their identity as trans people is portrayed as only one of many aspects of their character! They both behave and are treated like literally any other OP character outside of a few instances (like above) where the matter of their gender identity would be relevant to the context of the scene.

How on Earth did Sega bear witness to the critical and commercial success of Sonic Mania and somehow arrive at the conclusion that they needed to make a sequel to Sonic ‘06?

I’m not one for video game-to-movie adaptations but I feel like this one might actually work.

All I’m gonna say is buckle the fuck up. Omori is one hell of an emotional roller coaster.

They give you enough “free” gameplay for you to understand what constitutes “power” in the game. To understand what makes you more powerful and how good it feels to wield that power in the context of the game. Then it quickly requires you to have more of that “power” if you want that feeling to continue.

That feels more (to me, anyway) like just respecting the person than respecting their religion.

Aw, and here I was hoping the next year would be full of people getting over-hyped over countdown teasers just to have the big reveal be that one of the guys who have been in every Street Fighter game for the last 30 years would, in fact, be in this one too.

Under absolutely no circumstance do I feel like I need to respect religion in the same capacity I respect someone’s sexual preferences.

Doesn’t really look to be a time/space theme but rather just time this go around.

So the entire meme is basically just that “morb” is a funny-sounding syllable and attaching it to words makes them sound really silly and associating those silly words with a shitty, edgy, “dark” film is kind of funny.

For what it’s worth, when Silksong does finally make an appearance, it will almost definitely be a part of a Nintendo event (it’s probably big enough to be in a regular Direct rather than the indie showcase).

Same, but for me it’s hard to go back to the n64 version after playing *extensively* on that custom 1964 emulator (the one that adds 60fps, widescreen and m+kb control to Goldeneye and PD).

P4 Golden on Switch is one of those rumours like Mario 3D All Stars and Maetroid Prime Trilogy where every inside source and their mother has reported on it’s existence and imminent release but for some godforsaken reason it hasn’t appeared yet.

The Smash thing I could almost overlook considering we also got Cloud before his game ever appeared on a Nintendo console...

Okay but have we figured out what the deal is with Persona 5 yet?

Try reading the whole thread. Context is important.

Sure, but it depends on what your definition of “famous” is. In going back to the matter of questioning Green’s fame compared to the Twitch/YouTube personalities, there’s a pretty defined difference between a streamer thats a prominent pop culture figure among the young adult crowd (Markiplier, Ninja, MrBeast, etc)

Depends who you ask, I guess.
