Yeah, I realized after I thought about it for a bit. We don’t know for sure where the story is going quite yet, but it seems to fit the bill of a sequel a bit more right now.

I mean, we did just get Bravely Default II.

FFVII Remake was not a remake though. It’s just what they decided to call it.

You’d think after VersusXIII/XV, FF7R and Kingdom Hearts III, I’d learn my lesson about expecting big Square Enix games to release the same decade they were announced in, but here we are.

It’s almost funny how they’ve been trying (and largely failing) for years now to make Final Fantasy into an action-based/open exploration thing and then they just go and show up with a game that literally looks like a perfect version of that and it turns out its not even a FF game.

Minecraft may have started out as a small project with little to no budget but it has spent the majority of it’s existence as a major multimedia franchise backed by a multibillion dollar company with entire sections in Wal Mart dedicated to it.

I really wanted an “indie game rep” all throughout the character reveals but now that we’re at the last character of what is probably Sakurai’s last Smash game... it’ll feel really wrong if it’s not a Nintendo character.

As someone who only follows Fortnite through news articles detailing in-game events does it even really focus on the Battle Royale thing or is it basically just VRChat with paid skins now?
