That wasn’t a mistake - he was just ‘jacking on’, like his pal Bender Bending Rodriguez.

Warren rights anything and everything they’ll let him - books, comics, magazine articles, video games, cartoons, random talks, the blurbs of travel brochures probably even. Hell, when he’s not writing he’s writing a weekly email to subscribers about writing. And whiskey. And the nearness of death, usually.
Well, we’ve visited many more, even if briefly, and Cassini is about to plunge into Saturn.
Not that will leave anything, really, but still...
To be fair, Finn did rescue him from a Star Destroyer where he was certainly going to be executed eventually. Then he GAVE HIM HIS NAME. And THEN he brought him his jacket back.
So I can see him being attached, regardless.
God damn, the new timeline is already a freaking mess...
He did. Han probably used it earlier in the movie too, when he was on top of the Falcon trying to repair it on Hoth.
Here’s the thing about your average bullet - they actually rely on impact to do most of their damage too. Most bullets are made of lead so that they deform the instant they hit something, and this causes a shock wave inside the target (we’re assuming it’s flesh here) that’s violent enough to create a temporary cavity…
I have a feeling the character Ian McShane is playing might be Benjen. He is supposed to be playing a warrior everyone thought was dead, right?
At any rate, Daario being Benjen is just ... reaching.
I imagine being telekinetic wouldn’t also mean you’d have the ability to work a crowd.
Hell, you might even just hate people.
And here I just left a message about this probably being just a problem of translation from Chinese...and now I’m sure it is. Sheesh.
I can’t help but wonder if this isn’t just an erroneous translation, considering the original paper seems to have been in Chinese.
So long as we get the deleted scene of Chewbacca ripping off Plutt’s arm, I’m golden.
Really, really looking forward to Rogue One coming out. It’s an interesting bit of Star Wars history, and what seems like an exciting and new approach to the franchise - something different.
The Han Solo, Ben Kenobi, Boba Fett back-story stuff ... considerably less so. Because we already know those characters, and I’m…
Here’s the thing - these are purely mechanical devices. That’s special.
In an age where everything is digital, having a mechanism that is fueled solely by motion alone IS a marvel, and certainly a technology worth preserving.
Given the amount of time that the “X-franchise” has been a PG-13 ‘family oriented’ property for Fox Studios, I’m not entirely certain this is a good idea.
I know a lot of people have wanted it, but I suspect a lot more people are accustomed to being able to go see these with their kids. But, eh, maybe those kids are…
I used to deliver pizza in a shitty little town in Nebraska, and now live in Minnesota where I occasionally order delivery on the more inclement days of the year.
I will say, typically, if you’re working delivery in weather like that, you’re probably used to it. I will also say that I myself always tip generously for…
Some of what I saw of his letters and so forth paint him as an immensely erudite ( after a fashion ) and well read man.
But by THAT definition, sure, yeah, giant fucking nerd.
You mean Life Day, right?
HOW IS THIS EVEN NEWS ANYMORE?
I agree with you on all points save this: Howard was no nerd.
