Under-rated gem in Candler Park: Gato Bizco (maybe it’s just Gato now), across the street from the hopelessly over-rated Flying Biscuit. Funky place with the grill right behind the bar but the huevos rancheros is legit.

I no longer live in Pittsburgh but I’d say Pamela’s would still be my top choice when visiting. Yes it’s cash-only for greasy AF pancakes but all in an old charming way...

It’s actually really comforting that in this era of service after service with big name shows, I can find one to safely skip. Some awful part of me also hopes that Disney+ is a disaster for similar reasons, but that’s just anxiety. 

This is the only positive review of the show I’ve seen, so I’m going to say Alex is definitely biased due to sharing most of his name with the lead character.
