It didn’t have to be an either/or thing. Every car that has CarPlay also runs its own software and UI. If they wanted to build a complete infotainment system they easily could have while still giving its customers the option of CarPlay.

It runs great for me and looks amazing as well. I’m only an hour or two into it but already it’s one of the best looking PC games I’ve ever played. The character models and skin are superb, so it was a surprise to see those called out here.

Well luckily for you (well, all of us really) that’s no longer an issue with Reforger. They’ve killed off all of the legacy code and it’s a whole new game, pretty much from scratch. It doesn’t share much with the past ArmA series other than the name.
