TIL a country defending its borders from illegal invaders is a “racist” act.

Get your head out of your ass. And then once you wipe the shit off your eyeballs read the rest of the comments to this article. LOTS of people think it’s racist.

It’s not “racist” to want borders. Every country has them... that’s how we know where one country ends and another begins. Most people couldn’t care less about the race of people trying to enter the country, but more about whether they are here legally and lawfully. Read more

It’s going to sound so obvious now, but it wasn’t at the time — a headset. I used the included microphone that came with the Xbox 360 for communication and relied on the game audio from the TV. Hearing footsteps (or not hearing them) was such an advantage or disadvantage that I was completely oblivious to until Read more

I was also someone who played SF2 until my blisters had blisters, but as great as that Genesis controller was, the Japanese 6 button Saturn controller was... indescribable. When the SF 30th Anniversary Collection came out a couple years ago, I managed to track down some perfect condition Saturn controllers and a Read more

Like any doctor, they have their fields they specialize in. And even within their own field, you can always get a dissenting opinion. My question is, how is it so blatantly obvious to someone completely untrained in the medical field — such as myself — that this was far more serious than he was letting on, yet he Read more

This is precisely why I’ve never even tried a monitor above 60 Hz.  I don’t know what I’m missing, and so... I don’t miss it.  My ignorance is bliss and I’m ok with that. I’ll keep enjoying my 60 fps and crank up the eye candy.

I always saw the warnings of a dystopian future in various fictional works — most famously, of course, Nineteen Eighty-Four, with Big Brother and whatnot. Then came other works like V for Vendetta, Minority Report, or even Demolition Man (which, while comedic, is scarily prophetic). Read more

Good to see the Doc back at it. He gets a lot of hate, but he’s obviously doing something right. I would say he’s the most entertaining streamer I’ve ever seen.

There is no difference. CNN et al. have been “reporting” tainted, slanted, and downright false stories for years now, and they all just echo each other. Lately their ratings are tanking though, so maybe people are starting to finally catch on — though I have little faith in that regard. Read more

Facebook shot itself in the foot trying to meddle with allowing or disallowing certain messages to be spread. There’s no way I would want to decide as a company what should be allowed or not. Open the floodgates and let people decide for themselves what they believe or what they don’t believe.  The only thing I would Read more

If you do end up jailbreaking, I would still recommend the Eclipse app. I’ve used it on all of my jailbroken devices even before I had an OLED screen. It just looks so much nicer and is easier on the eyes, especially at night. This, too, should be the default for iPhones. I don’t know whose idea it was to make Read more

It’s as easy as it’s ever been. There a ton of guides on how to jailbreak on YouTube. You need to be on any iOS lower than 11.4 to jailbreak (for now anyway).
