As someone that is in the process of correcting chronic pain, I don't agree with you. First of all the chiro should not be the sole source of treatment with something that is chronic. So 10-12 visits I can see if you are seeing multiple practitioners. Also 10-12 visits are not going to change someone's posture if

Bad doctors get sued more than chiros. Many doctors don't get sued because they just prescribe medication that makes you feel good so you don't feel it. There are charlatans in every field. Your doctor is a keeper.

Talk to your doctor. Get a referral for physio, they can help you with those solutions a well.

Get references from friends. Ask how long they spend on you, and what they have treated. You should not have to keep going back for the same injuries.

Listen to your body. Write down treatment dates and when you are feeling effects of not being treated and find out what works for you. Nothing beats being your own doctor and documenting your history.

It all depends on why you are feeling the pain. Spinal decompression is great for some people and really bad for others. There are many people that have had disc regeneration through spinal decompression. Visit a clinic that has both Chiros and Dr's.
