A few things- making friends in general is tough. You're young, so now is the time to make new friends, because it is does usually get harder with. Not impossible, mind you, but harder. I'm 32 and have made a few new friends in the last few months so it isn't difficult.
My grandma's best friend ran her own child over because the leaves were raked at the end of the dirt driveway and he was hiding in them. I'm not sure how she dealt with the guilt but my grandma said she was never the same after that, and they ended up drifting apart... This was in the sixties. Unless my grandma was…
That is confusing me even more... Who needs night vision goggles there? Is someone there who wasn't a vamp, or did they show it that way just to make it look freaky? Meredith said "Vampire Night Vision" so I was just assuming she knew something I didn't. Do you think it means something? I still love the show but I am…
Hey, remember when we saw Tara's Vamp-O-Vision a few episodes back? It looked like maybe long-exposure-on-film vision? So how come now it's Paris-Hilton-Sex-O-Vision?
Ooh, yeah, that one is a fave in Stitcher too. The last half of the Packing for Mars episode was so funny.
I am loving this thread. The zombie one sounds great! I read something the other day about Nathan Fillion saying he would rather do a Firefly radio drama than an animated series. I think that would be awesome! I would love to see a resurgence of radio type serials!
Radiolab!!! I cannot recommend it enough! Also, SciFri, Astronomycast and StuffYou Should Know. However, if you like weird and interesting topics with a storytelling angle, Radiolab is the best. I was introduced to it a year ago (ish) and I've listened to every episode. It is crack to me.
Some clouds are made of solids, such as frozen liquid. And the type of cloud pictured is definitely not a see through kind, like possibly a cirrus cloud might be. They look more like a cumulous type cloud to me, which would be more dense, and not see through.
I think it is very beautiful, but in striving for realism, there is a pretty glaring mistake. Have you ever seen stars in front of clouds? Gorgeous picture, but that stuck out like a sore thumb to me. It just isn't possible.
